This hotel is a few minutes walk from the busy Plaza Espanya. The airport bus stop is here, as is the metro station, which is an excellent way of getting around Barcelona. We stayed in a double room which also had a kitchen/dining/relaxing area separate from the bedroom. It was really spacious and clean, as was the bathroom. Quite sparsely...

Extremly reasonable rates. Rooms are huge, I actually would say our room was a small one bedroom apartment with a kitchen and large bath. Very basic accommodations. Espanya metro stop is within walking distance and the former bull fighting arena/mall is close too. Staff are very very friendly. Safe area. They keep the front door locked at all times. Stayed...

We stayed a few days during the month Oct 2013 and where pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem. The room quite comfortably slept 2 adults and 2 kids. Had free wifi and free bottled water. It was a 5 min walk to Plaza Espana, 15 min walk to the Fuente Magica and had a metro close by as well. If...

We had plenty of room - 1 db, hide a bed under single bed, crib is free. Free Internet. Close to walk up to Montjuic- 1 mile perhaps, but enjoyable to walk up escalators to National Art Museum MNAC. Friendly service. AC worked very well and good shower. Clean. Just one negative - don't park in the underground parking as...

Very spacious rooms for 3 or 4 people (both adults and children) and with everything you need, including free water minibar and nice free wifi. The staff is very friendly and the hotel is very centrally located in a very safe area. We will repeat whenever we go to Barcelona!

I booked a triple room and a quadruple room. Their website talks of apartments but they put the quad booking in a hotel room and the triple into a single room. They were rude and arrogant in the extreme. The receptionist claimed to be the owner until we tried to make a record of his scare tactics and then he...

The Hotel Azul is a 3/4 star hotel, well located about 150m for Placa D'Espanya on the busy Corts de Catalanes. This gives you great access to the rest of the city either by walking, when not hot as it was this July, or by bus, the best, as these were all airconditioned, or the Metro. The National Art, Miro...

We checked in after our cruise for a one night stay and a very early flight the next morning. Rooms weren't ready because we showed upset 9:00am but the VERY nice front desk person stored our bags for us and we went and jumped on the hoho bus and came back around 3:00 when the room were ready. The hotel...
