I love this hotel. We have stayed quite a few times now and love it every time. We had a room at the front with a Las Ramblas view and it is wonderful. The rooms are very modern and spotless the beds are like sleeping on a cloud and so are the pillows. You have Port Vell a couple of...

The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The location was perfect for a first trip to Barcelona, with fab access to public transport. Metro station right outside and just a 10 minute walk to the 'aerobus' stop for swift cheap airport transfers.

We had a wonderful 3 day spring break in the town of Barcelona. This hotels location was for us perfect. Guessed it would be a bit noisy so choose a room at the back of the hotel, that was a good plan. Went out for breakfasts so can’t comment, but what I did see we were glad we did. Looked...

Location is great, close to everything in town and was very easy to find. staff were okay, most of them spoke English which is a bonus. We stayed there For 3 nights. Small but clean and neat. There's no gym facility or ice machine.

We stayed here for 3 nights, the hotel room was perfect, over looking la ramblas. The bed was very comfy and huge. The shower was also amazing. All the staff spoke very good English and we're very helpful with directions and anything we needed help with. Couldn't fault anything about the hotel, would definitely recommend it

We stayed in this hotel for one night pre cruise. Location is ideal, walk up Las Ramblas to Catalunya or down to Mare Magnum shopping mall. Bus pick up for cruises is a 5minute walk. Breakfast was fine, choice of hot or cold dishes. Large modern bedrooms. No complaints whatsoever.

This was a modern, clean and very well located hotel, but not 4 stars. There was lobby noise on the first floor (as most corridors on each floor seem to be alongside a central open space) and a questionable 'view' onto a cigarette strewn roof right in front of the window from room 104. Go for the front, or a...

It seems every tourist city has to have a famous thoroughfare. Whether that's Oxford Street in London, Les champs d, Elysee in Paris or Times Square in New York these routes are designed to funnel in tourists, part them from their money and send them out the other end feeling somewhat entertained, a little grubby and ever so slightly used....

Staying in La Rambla

Neighbourhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-metre boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetising selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
