The hostel is very clean and located in a very close place to the La Rambla street. This street is the heart of the Barcelona city. But the rooms looking at the street side were very noisy. So try to get a room away from the street. Their pillows were like paper, don't forget to ask for an extra. The... More

Had a single room on same floor as reception. A little noisy with the conversations at reception but the room was clean with bed, wardrobe, small table with chair, fan and cupboard space. Bathroom small but shower excellent. Only stayed two nights, room cleaned but no towel or bed change as expected with a short stay. Close to got his... More

We arrived by plane and took a taxi to the hostal. Taxi cost €37 so would recommend taking public transit if have mimimal baggage. The taxi couldn't drop us off right in front as the hotel is located in the old city center and street access is limited. The hotel is on the second floor and you need to buzz... More

I never travel through Europe, because of the many tourists. Normally I stay in hotels so I probably write a review about this hostel, not that well. In my opinion this hostel is not worth a single star. Although the rooms were clean, and the shower was good too, I did'nt like the bad WIFI connection. We live in a... More

I stayed there for a couple of nights to enjoy Barcelona. It is very good located as it is very central (close to La Rambla, many restaurants, bars, bakeries, and minimarkets). The room I stayed in was located to the inner court (quiet!), relatively small but equipped with everything necessary (with aircon). It could have been cleaner but it was... More

A basic but clean hotel in a great position.....close to Ramblas, the metro station Liceu and the treasures of the old neighbourhood. All perfect except at night when the late night revellers, early morning garbage collectors, delivery people and every noisy person took to the streets. Our room was at the front and the noise seemed to bounce off the... More

Definitely not our best hotel choice. Great location though with the excitement of the old town and an abundance of bars, tapas and shopping opportunities on the doorstep. However if you're looking for uninterrupted sleep and a level of comfort, it's probably not for you. No air-con available (only a couple of rooms have it we were told) but a... More

I have been to Barcelona for 1 week with other two friends in Hostal Levante. The location was absolutely FANTASTIC: in the heart of the lively and beautiful Barrì Gotic, close to pretty much everything you need when you go there: two metro stations (Liceu and Jaume I - 3/5 minutes walk), Barceloneta (to spend your nights out - 15/20... Stayed here for 4 nights while travelling through Europe, definitely would book again. Friendly 24hr staff, really helpful and locked main door with a buzzer to get in, feels really safe. Decent room for the price, clean towels everyday, can't hear any noise from the street, perfect location just off La Rambla and round the corner from Catedral de Barcelona. Wifi... More

My sister and I stayed here for 5 nights in June. We loved it! There was air conditioning, hot showers, clean bathroom, clean bedding, comfy mattresses, staff and reception were very friendly and helpful (assisted with calling a doctor for my sister & helped out any way possible :) ). Also, the cleaner came every day to clean up our... More

With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighbourhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night.
