Amazing hotel, very clean and nice lobby. Felt so happy right away when I walked in. Nice employees who welcomed me and checked me in real quick. I would go back! Easy to find and just a short trip from the air port. Loved it. Only thing I missed was a more private hotel bar that doesn't close as early....

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

Forgo the Las Ramblas district to stay with all night noise and partying. This treasure is 3km from the centre, very close to metro, trains and the hop-on bus at Estacio Santo, it's a quiet safe district, with less tourist bustle. The hotel is immaculately clean, and nicely furnished. The rooms are small but if you don't intend to be in them...

Lovely hotel with friendly staff, very clean and rooms are modern and tastefully decorated. Breakfast is good quality and early evening tea is complementary, so a quick snack and coffee before hitting the town. Only concern is some rooms have internal facing rooms and mine was over the entrance so was a little noisy, and the air conditioning appeared to...

This place is a nice, clean mid-range hotel that is a bit out of the tourist buzz but still very convenient to everything. Multiple metro stops are within a few minutes of the hotel, and I like that it is not near Las Ramblas. The folks at the desk are especially nice, and the free tapas in the evening are...

Cuartos viejos, la ducha se dano. Look for other hotels in the area, much better for 1/2 the price. Only thing about this old place was the service. Employees were good. The installations are terrible looking.

My wife and I and Our son visited Barcelona a couple of days in november 2016. We were Lucky to find Catalonia Roma, a small homlike hotel centrally placed near both railwaystation and Metro. The staff was friendly and serviceminded. Excellent breakfast and high standard of cleanliness.

We recently spent 4 nights in this hotel. It's is handily located close to the Sants train station and metro. The staff were very friendly, and the room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The price includes finger food in the early evening. I would highly recommend it.

Expensive for a 3 Star hotel. Near to Metro and Train station but far from the City center and the port. Rooms are small, with small windows. You will receive a room with an outside window only if you ask. Clean rooms.

Booked here for two nights. Got a very good deal on the room. We didn't have breakfast, but that looked ok. (We ate at local bars) Room good. Bathroom exellent. Staff really helpful. Pretty close to Sants station. They had something called "Tea Time" Where they have free nibbles and soft drinks. Recommended.

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
