Barrio Gòtico (Barri Gòtic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighbourhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.

We stayed here for 2 nights. We arrived at 12.30pm expecting to leave our luggage but the room was ready. The room was spotlessly clean, basic but ideal for our needs. The breakfast was continental style, just what you need to start off your day. The location was fantastic, a

We had a really good four night stay at this hotel. The location on La Rambla is excellent. If noise bothers you ask for a rear room, it doesn't bother us so a room at the front with a small balcony was ideal. The views up and down the Rambla were great. The rooms are a bit

This hotel is located right on La Rambla, which is an ideal location and the rates were great. It is walking distance to both the Plaza de Catalunya and the Columbus Monument at the opposite end. The rooms were clean and more than adequate for what we needed for our two day

Even though the hotel is in a busy area we had a room at the back and didn't hear any noise from the street, just occasionally from the room next door. We did find the bed hard and in the end we folded the spare blanket and put it under the bottom sheet and that helped. No tea

is there a vehicle transfer from the hotel to the cruise port..
Hi, the hotel is very close to the end of La Rambla where the port is located. We walked from the hotel and crossed the street. There are port shuttles from there. I recommend taking one of those because from the "port area" to the actual ships is a LONG way. There is no way we could have dragged our luggage all the way to the ship.

Hello! It is a regular queen/double bed. One solid mattress. The hotel does have rooms with a queen bed and a single. If you would like to have your own space, your child could sleep in the seperate single bed. Talk with Aurelio at the front desk. He is very helpful. We hope you enjoy your stay and don't miss their breakfast!
