This is a beautiful place to visit. We couldn't believe it was a working hospital until nine years ago. would definatly recommend a visit. Beautiful architecture and amazing gardens. The Barcelona tour bus stops opposite the entrance.
We spent 5 nights here. Breakfast is same every day so after 5 days, ready for a change. We did tons of walking as most everything within walking distance. Lots of restaurants close by. Close to public transit. Front desk helpful with anything we asked.
Sometimes you don't know what your going to get but all I can say is we had a great stay clean tidy air con room. Pretty central close to the metro places to eat and drink. Fabulous Buffett breakfast. Friendly staff and helpful. Would recommend...More

Hotel Reception Staff were very familiar with the route to the Airport and happy to help and advise. I seem to remember we got the L5 train from San Pau Dos de Maig, nearer than Sagrada Familia, then changed to L2 at Collblanc.
Metro T10 ticket worked on RENFE Trains, buses and metro in most of the city but we needed to buy a separate ticket for a few Euros at the actual Airport station to get through the barrier. There were machines for this and it was straight forward. Trains clean and fast.
T10 ticket is valid for 10 Zone 1 rides, and can be used for more than one person on the Metro and Bus.
