Arrived at 18.00. Given keys to room but found it with the bed upside down and a cleaner in it. Finally got in at 19.30. Room small but clean with view of wall. Wifi didn't work staff could not care less. Avoid. Lots and lots...More
This hotel is well situated in the gothic quarter & is modern with nice in room facilities. 2 euro per day to use the in room safe is a joke though. The staff here let this place down & are the only reason I wouldn’t...More

Fantastic location compensates more 3 than 4*. Breakfast ok, it’s clean - what more a person while in Barcelona needs 😂
People are very friendly, helpfull and always smiling.
Rooms are discent size and bathrooms well equiped
Nice, well located hotel, but with poor customer service and a lot of noise from rooms above - no soundproofing (ie:housekeeping moving furniture, guests marching around with boots - on tiled floors). There is minimal noise from outside though, just the lovely sound of church...More
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighbourhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local
musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
