I was staying with my mum and aunts so I wanted to stay somewhere central that was clean, comfortable and affordable. Casa Consell delivered on everything and more. The staff were spot on, really friendly and helpful. They printed out our tickets for attractions so we didn't need to que. There was a heatwave so it was very hot but...

The location was great and we loved the terrace. They also have a kitchen available for use which is nice. I wish we had air conditioning though, even though it was only 88-90 during the day, it didn't cool down enough at night to sleep well. I'm not sure if it was an option we could have asked for.

firstly, it's very good for the price but if your expecting 4 star it's not for you, so, it's good value in a great location and very friendly... The breakfast is very basic and you expected to clean up after your self and that includes washing the dishes, so Id opt to eat out at the many local places and...

The location of this place is just perfect! Shared areas of the guesthouse are also really cool. Friendly and helpful staff and quite decent breakfast. We stayed in a double bedded room with shared bathroom, the only downside of our stay was the room, I didn't have an issue with the small size of the room or the shared bathroom...

Small boutique B&B just of the Passieg de Gracia has been one of best surprises in my years of traveling Europe. Friendly staff, full concierge service (not so usual for b&b), silent and airy room with a balcony, good breakfast, nice green terrace. Great value for money.

What a wonderful place to stay. I can’t praise the location (within walking distance of everything), the atmosphere and staff enough. The terrace is so relaxing after a hard day as a tourist. It is exceptionally clean. The breakfast very adequate (if like me you prefer some cheese or salami the supermarket is a few meters away) and tea and...

I stayed there for three nights. Staff is very very nice and helpful. The common area is beautiful and very relaxing. I spent most of the time there rather than staying in my own room. You can have all the things you want in the little kitchen. I had never imagined the quality can be so good with such a...

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
