Conveniently located near metro, shops and restaurants. The staff were very helpful, breakfast was good. I did have a problem accessing the internet on my computer, although my phone worked fine. The lighting in the room was a bit dark and a few more lamps would have helped. A fridge in the room was a bonus. We had a comfortable...

I booked this hotel for two nights, first one via their website and second via booking.com The one room booked from their website was spacious and cheaper and had complimentary water and candies. So it is better to check their website for better deals. The location cannot be better. Breakfast was nice filled with fruits, fresh bread. I may stay...

The room is a decent size, and kept clean with a modern vibe to it. The room does not have extras like an iron, or free bottled water etc... But it has all the basics needed for your stay. The location is around 2 min walk to the station, which is 1 stop away from Las Ramblas. The metro is...

At the price point, there is little to criticise. The hotel is modern, clean with pleasant, helpful staff. Don't expect much ornamentation - the rooms are quite stark but the bed was comfortable and the large bathroom had a double sized shower and a bidet. Breakfast was fine with a range of cold and hot (warm actually) dishes, fine coffee...

Booked this hotel for a three night break with a friend. On a budget! This is a fabulous hotel. Great location - right next to Paral-lel metro (metro super easy to use), can walk up montjuic easily, it's maybe a 10-15 min walk into the centre (i.e. The cathedral) and similar to harbour. The best bit is that there is...

The room is spacy and furniture new. The location is nice because you can walk or easily use public tranport to all sights of the city. I did not liked the fact that windows and walls were not soundproof! One bad tme was that one towel had a hole.

My girlfriend and I booked this hotel because it was central Barcelona and we were really happy with the photos on here. We booked a standard room with breakfast at a great price after comparing around. The trip was for 2 nights, and the last day would be my girlfriends 21st birthday, feeling rather cheeky I emailed the hotel explaining...

The beds are very comfy and I do look for this in a hotel. The location is ideal: near to the centre and with Blai round the corner there are local bars and restaurants. The rooms are basic but kept very clean. All in all good value.

Stayed on the 3rd floor, didn't hear much noise on 1st night as I was very tired , but the remaining 3 nights I couldn't believe the amount of noise!!!!!! Very loud Spanish people shouting , banging doors. Impossible to sleep! Don't know if it was like this on all floors. You need to wear a good set of heavy...

Stayed in a true single and the accommodations were perfect. Breakfast was very good. Agree with another reviewer that ear plugs would have been helpful. The street noise was considerable until late at night. Hotel is about one block from the Paral.lel metro station.

Staying in Montjuic

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colourful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
