The hotel is really great. Got a quite big room, clean. We asked for one big bed and got a great one. The service is nice, definitely recommend. We even got a nice balcony to the street. The price is good.

Staff were welcoming and helpful, check in was quick and room was ready even tho we was early which was fantastic as we were tiered. hotel was clean, location was perfect just a minute walk to the main road ramblas. only down fall was the breakfast didn't have a variety for vegetarians so we as vegetarians didn't enjoy it.

Great location, great staff, good beds, good Wi-Fi! I am a tall guy and the bathrooms are little bit tight for my comfort, but in general are OK I am pleased! Right next to LA RAMBLA & PLACA CATALUNYA. You won't regret it!

The NH Barcelona Centro was booked for us as part of a Rick Steve's tour due to its central location. It was a perfect location for walking the city. It is just off the main street where all the action is. I recommend a higher floor facing the neighborhood. The inner rooms, although less expensive and smaller, face inward. Ideal...

I am staying here currently on a business trip, and am already planning on coming back for holiday next year. We will stay here! Location is amazing, walking distance to landmarks, shopping, restaurants and the beach. Service at hotel is amazing, and rooms very clean and bright.

I arrived there in the morning time, and I was very tired after red eye flight. The clerk guy was very nice to prepare the room and check me in at noon instead of 3 PM. It was very helpful. Room was clean and quiet. The view from balcony was romantic! The location of the hotel is very convenient to...

I go to Barcelona often for business and pleasure (I live in Madrid). I've stayed in NH hotels before and have liked them well enough. The pluses: the staff are very nice. The central location just off the Ramblas, is great. Without asking, they upgraded me to a superior room (which meant a huge bed, mostly.) But they are weak...

Nice hotel, quiet enough, even with an internal facing room. Our room had some adaptable aids within the bathroom, Spacious enough for 2 and a wheelchair. We only stayed B&B so cant talk about the food - Hit the streets and you will find plenty of cafe's, bars, restaurants in any direction..

I stayed in this hotel due to a last minute offer I had and i can tell you it was a bit small of a room but right in the middle of Barrio Gothic was a great experience. At first I did not know where it was located but once I got to the location I was very happy.

Hotel is in a perfect location-- on side street off of Las Ramblas. Easy to walk to everything. Service was excellent and breakfast was very nice. Would definitely stay there again. P.S. felt very safe there and noise was NOT an issue.

Staying in Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)

Neighbourhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighbourhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
