We stayed there Sunday to Thursday. Very clean hotel including the bedroom. Even though our bedroom was on the front couldn't hear the traffic. Couldn't fault the staff or breakfast. Central location. La Rambles only about 10 minute walk. We will definitely be staying here again

Stayed for three nights end of January. Comfortable, clean and helpful staff. Stayed on top floor with roof balcony. Fairly priced. Would recommend. Good bus link from airport. Plenty of cafe bars to relax after sight seeing.

One word to describe the hotel is 'Convinient'. It is very close to the Universitat metro station, Aerobus airport bus drop off point and a 10 - 15 minutes walk from Placa de Espanya where you have the observatory and plenty of restaurants. Placa de Catalunya is very closeby. The stop of hop on hop off bus routes are at...

Been to this hotel for business recently and I must say I have been to better places within this class range (3stars). Room was really small, no kettle and basic supplies ( really basic). Plus staff really not helpful, I arrived slightly earlier than check in time ( which is 2 pm) they will not let me check in in...

Excellent hotel in a great location, if you have a low budget this one is perfect. Rooms small but comfy, breakfast good with everything you need. Very close to metro, lots of restaurants and bars nearby.

Booked four nights at the Caledonian for a romantic Barcelona break. The hotel is ideally located next to Universitat metro and is within walking distance of many city attractions. Staff were helpful and courteous throughout our visit. We stayed in room 609 on the top floor, clean and very nicely furnished, with its own outdoor terrace with wonderful views of...

Hotel is in a fantastic location, around a two minute walk from the Universatat metro, which is also one of the drop off points for the Aerobus. Its a five minute walk into Plata Catalunya, which is the centre point for everything you want to see in the city, La Rambla branches off it and also the Cathedral. The room...

We stayed in room 204 with 2 single confortable beds ,white clean sheets. The whole room is well renovated and the bath room is modern and extra clean. The location was perfect, near the metro station as well as near the center even by walk. The staff were friendly, they had on onsite car park, free WiFi and secure luggage storage. The room was really big, there was a balcony and the travel cot was perfect.

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
