Great room (dorm) Very clean and the staff was really friendly! Everything was really clean. The restaurant looked amazing. I loved the rooms where you can just sit and relax. There is a kitchen you can use what is really great if you don't want to go out for dinner every night.

Hey Judith, thanks for your review! It’s good to have a nice room to rest in after a day walking around the city, right? Did you have the chance to try the fusion tapas at La Paisana? Come back soon! ;) Casa Gracia Team

I found myself alone with a few days to spare in Barcelona. I'm usually a hotel person, but for £15/night Casa Gracia seemed too good value to pass up. It was absolutely brilliant. The common areas were nicely designed - parquet flooring, chesterfields etc., there was free coffee on tap, a nice rooftop courtyard on the first floor.. The restaurant...

The location is a must, and the hostel is beautiful! However its to noisy, you can ear doors slamming during all the night and it's such a loud noise that makes impossible to sleep and to rest. We stayed 3 nights and in the last night we woke up at 2 in the mooring with the staff from the hostel,...

The location is really good, and it's safe if you came back late. Reasonable price, good service. The staffs are really friendly, they help us a lot. Like the style there. There is only one thing we complain about, which is the cleaning, overall is clean.. but there are something, such as forget provide us the toilet paper or towel,...

The entrance to the hostel is extremely nice and looks more like an expensive hotel than a hostel. Reception was busy when we arrived and the young people working there were efficient but didn't seem experienced. They were polite though, and the lady on reception when we checked out was very friendly as well as efficient and polite. We were...

Hey Amigo! Thanks for your review! The Crew (our staff) is always ready to help and they have plenty of advices about the city for our guests! The views from the windows are really nice, right? Really enjoyed my stay at Casa Gracia. The restaurant on the ground floor was funky with great food. The communal chill out areas on the next floor up were homely but still chic, and they have accommodation options for every budget. One little thing they have that sets them apart from everyone else, is you can help yourself to the...

Hey! Thanks for your opinion! Good to know you enjoyed La Paisana, our gastrospace! The balcony from the top floor has a stunning view, doesn’t it? We’re sorry about the cleaning issue from the bath. We’ll make sure this doesn’t happen again. Hope you come back soon! Casa Gracia Team.

Hotel prices, with hostel service. This would be a 4.5 star review if I had paid $70-80/night, but for 100-150 price range, you get none of the hotel amentities. Our internet didn't even work in our room, which they insisted was a problem with both our iphones, and our ipad, even though it worked every where else for a month....

Staying in Gracia

Neighbourhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the centre, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theatre that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
