We stayed for a long weekend at Casa Gracia. On arrival reception took very long to find reservation. In the end we received a twin deluxe room instead off the reserved double. They had no more doubles available so we made it work ourselves e by pushing beds together. Guess smothering wrong with the reservation. Rocky start as expectations not...

It's so centrally located and less than one minute from the subway. We stayed in a private room, and it's really simple, maybe a little too simple. Shower head is too high and water temperature is not very consistent.

Casa Gracia is a really top-end hostel which feels more like a hotel. It's in a great location on the edge of Gracia and Eixample and the Eixample metro is only a 5 min walk away so it's really easy to get around. The hostel is split into two buildings; the first is the hostel itself with dorm rooms and...

If there was an option between average and very good, I'd give Casa Gracia that. We received a very warm welcome when we arrived. From the few interactions we had with staff after this, service was as friendly as you'd expect it to be. The hostel overall is a lovely space, lots of space to chill out and an endless...

More a hotel than a hostel, Casa Gracia is a 10-15 min walk from Sacrada Familia and a 20 min walk from Las Ramblas. We stayed in a double deluxe room, on the top floor (6th), and besides from a tv and kettle, it had all the amenities of a 3/4 star hotel. Free tea and coffee is provided in...

It's an hostel, a lot of young folks around. The building is well kept and looks old. The staff is mainly friendly (one was not, all the other were). We booked a single room with a couple's bed. The room was one of the smallest rooms I ever seen. The bathroom door did not close and it only opened 75%...

I stayed here for three nights with a group of 16 students. The hostel is amazing. We had several rooms - single, twins and four bed dorms. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable and clean. The bathrooms were very clean and well equipped. There are many rooms in the building where you can go to relax, meet others, use...

Staying in Gracia

Neighbourhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the centre, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theatre that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
