We were at this hostel 2 nights. Great location for a great price. Rooms were clean and modern looking. We had a beautiful view from our small balcony as well. The market is right the cross street. The only down side, was that there was a lot of stairs with a small one person elevator. The stairs didn't bother me...

+ the location couldn't be better + the rooms are clean and nice + all the facilities you need + you can make yourself coffee and tea whenever you want and there's a microwave for everybody to use + the price is good for what you get - yes the elevator is small, but it's no problem to take the...

Location couldn't be better. Just in front on La Boqueria. Price/quality is excellent. Lift is very very tight. Only one person can fit on it. The noise of the water running on pipes during the night. (Miró room)

I stayed one night after a cruise before heading home and I couldn't believe the location. The cruise had a transfer to the square where the Hostal is located and the hop on, hop off buses are right there. The bus to the airport is also right around the corner and very easy to find. You're literally on the Ramblas...

On the Ramblas, short walking distance from Plaza de Catyluna with it bus stop from the airport, and near to public transport, this is a very clean, quiet little gem with helpful staff. The price is terrific, and there are lots of places to eat and sightsee around the Ramblas. As others have reported, you may pass the door by...

The hotel is a tiny spot and a bit of a hole in the wall (the Erotic Museum is indeed the landmark to look for) but it is very modern and clean. We got the highly recommended quad room that looks out to las Ramblas directly across from the Mercado (also easy subway access). The room was surprisingly spacious and...

We've just returned from a short stay at this Hostal and we were very pleasantly surprised. We had previously stayed 2 nights in a B&B in the Eixample area and wanted to experience Las Ramblas and I have to say that this Hostal is perfect for that. It's about half way down Las Ramblas (above the Erotic Museum but pleased...

First class location, yeah the rooms are a little small but we had 3 single beds in our room (109) two adults and an excited 7 year old boy. No hassle at all. Slight noise issue from the back street below, but let's not forget this is in the heart of La Ramblas, what do you expect. Beds made and...

First impressions of the hostel were not great, hard to find (we just happened to look up and see the rather small sign 4 floors up) and a little metal door on las ramblas next to the erotic museum. The hostel starts 4 floors up and so you need to walk up a very thin windy stair case to get...

Neighbourhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)

It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. “Definitely go for the spacious, street-facing quad room. Book it if you can, or if during a quiet period, ask if they can upgrade you.”
