I stayed at the Hostal Baler for one night but could have stayed longer. The property was well located with a short walk from the Pl. Espanya and Aerobus. My room was a single with desk, cupboard, comfy bed and en suite bathroom. The entire property was spotlessly clean and has a lift. Breakfast was included in the already very...

Stayed here for 3 nights. Close to the Arenas and the AXA tower, near the Placa Espanya. My room was small but warm, thanks to the aircon heater. My private bathroom was clean and tidy. As my room was close to the front desk I could hear breakfast being put out each morning, which was a bit noisy but not...

This was the third time I've stayed at this hostal. Every time I go to Barcelona I try to book a room here. The staff is amazing, always friendly and ready to help with whatever you need. The rooms are small, but clean. The location is close to Plaça d'Espanya, the Arenas mall, in walking distance to the Art Museum...

Unexpected pleasure: receptionist even came to find us after taxi driver dumped us at wrong address. Clean, comfortable basic family run hostal which we would certainly come back to. Close to bars and restaurants.

very close to Metro station Hostafrancs, short walk distance to plaza españa, the room is small, clean and well organized. I found the bed comfortable but the pillow no, if you are not spending much time in the room it's more that OK. the breakfast is complete no remarks. concerning the WIFI, is among the fastest I've ever used.

Nice atmosphere, extremely friendly staff. Basic but very clean and well maintained. It's a family run hotel, closely located to Hostafrancs station. Five minutes walk to Placa Espanya, where the airport busses stop, and Fira Barcelona. I loved the hotel dog! Will definitely come back!

If you don't want to spend too much time in the room, this is the place to be. Very friendly staff, run by family members. There is a friendly dog too. Breakfast is good. Get bread, jam strawberry and peach, slices of ham, slices of cheese, yogurt... Bed not the most comfortable but you can sleep if really tired. You...

This hostel is actually a basic hotel. I had a one-person-room which was - as usual - very small, but it was very clean, the bed slept well (as I like a hard matrass). Wifi-connection is superb, just as the location (shops, bars, public transport) and the very friendly staff. Breakfast is not fantastic (which is understandable given the price...

A short distance from the train station. Easy to walk to the hotel. The staff are passionate. Rooms are basic and small, but it is enough. The breakfast is included in the price. It is basic, but good in my opinion.

So, we talking about 2-star hotel, and I want to say that Baler have some benefits like comfortable placing (70 meters to Metro-station), close situated stores with all-you-need, really not bad coffie in the breakfast and the nice helpfull stuff. Despite small rooms and poor equipment (there is no teapot, for instance), for travelers, wich going to start they trip...
