1) No fans in the room, got them replaced two times, still did not work. Had to run around each time, no staff available to do the work. Oh, I forgot, there is no customer service. 2) Looks very much like an illegal hostel. Name of hostel not mentioned anywhere on the property. Ample 24 is a property with no...

Helpful staff, cheap and cheerful, small kitchen fine for quick meals with big fridge and hot plates No plug in the bath but showers worked well. Towels provided and sheets clean Very central for places to eat and to walk into town and lots of the sights. Metro easy. Can walk anywhere Not sure that single women would feel ok...

I would never recommend this place to anyone. It felt like we were staying in a CRACK HOUSE! Worst place ever! My brother and I arrived around 1230am at the hostel. This hostel is on a sketchy street. People are standing outside and staring at you as walk down the street and as you wait outside the address of this...

This hostel was wonderful! The accomodations were perfect and we were close to the majority of what we wanted to see. The nightlife in the gothic quarter is superb and the architecture is outstanding! Very close to the underground if you want to get somewhere farther! :)

We stayed here from the 17th-24th September. When we arrived we had a txt from Andres to let us know how to check in, it took a little while to figure out who was going to sort things out for us but in the end the girl in the Barcelona4Fun room just next door sorted us out. Very friendly, gave...

My experience at Blue hostel was pleasant but not fantastic. The location was prefect, it was only a short walk to Las Rambles & there were plenty of great little restaurants along the street that were open late & the overall proximity to things in Barca was fantastic! There are a few downsides which I am not going to shy...

Blue Hostel is a very well-run guest house in one of the best locations in Barcelona. Unlike a traditional hostel, it is truly a guesthouse with a shared kitchen and living area where you can congregate and meet other travelers in a more intimate setting. The entrance to the 150 year old structure is quite grand, if the flat does...

I stayed at this hotel for one night with some friends. The hostel is in a great location- in the Gothic area and within walking distance to bars, shops, restaurants, the beach and the metro. The entrance to the hostel is amazing with a grand staircase. The rooms are simple and clean and there are two shared bathrooms (both very...

Blue Hostel is very centrally located, about five min walk from Drassanes metro station at port end of Las Ramblas in the absolutely gorgeous Gothis part of Barce. While reception is not always manned, Andres kept in contact with us on his day off and met us at the required time to prov access, alloc room & local knowledge. We...

The hostel was about a 5 minute walk to Las Ramblas, but far south so we had to take a metro or bus everywhere. But the price was right for us and it was a cool historic building. You have to climb many sets of stairs to get to the floor the hostel is on, so pack light if you...

Neighbourhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighbourhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
