We visited for ten days in August. Can not fault the hotel, was extremely clean, rooms were the perfect size and the reception staff were very helpful and could answer any question we had! Its hard to find a swimming pool in a hotel in barcelona for a good price, so to have a swimming pool on the roof was...

We stayed here because it was so close to the Estacio del Nord main bus and train station, just five minutes walk, also Marina metro. Our twin room was tiny but absolutely sparkling clean, immaculate, it appeared newly decorated. You also have the use of a communal kitchen/lounge on each floor. The lounge has sofas and big screen TV. The...

The breakfast is expensive for what you get,and there are cheaper small restaurants within short walking distance.

We stayed four nights at this place. Everything looks brand-new. The rooms are tidy and clean. The hotel may be basic but the swimmingpool on the roof terrace and the views from here are stunning. The hotel is located at 15 minutes walking distance from the old city centre. The residence exists of student housing and hotel rooms (be aware...

Our stay here was fine. We booked a studio superior and so were able to enjoy the extra space - although the bathroom was still impossibly small. Good to have the extra space, and we were expecting to be able to use the kitchen facilities, but this was not really practical since the kitchen was so poorly equipped. Yes, there...

Well out of the places we stayed in Europe this was one of the best and Barcelona being brilliant really helped easy access to the sea front on the tram or underground to other places. Rooms where clean and pool was very nice up the top with very nice views of a large area of Barcelona.

Excellent value and easy to get to! Well-manned reception, and the staff spoke English and were very friendly. Compact room, but comfortable, clean and it felt very safe. There was a lot of storage space, a security box and the bathroom was spotless and even had complimentary toiletries. We were next to the kitchen but hardly heard any noise apart...

We arrived over an hour before our official booking started, but very friendly receptionist let us take our room, which was a major surprise and gave comfort after traveling for 12 hours. The room was small but clean and rather cozy and fresh looking. Inside we found space for our luggage as well as a security box. The kitchen/hang-around room...

Staying in Poblenou

Neighbourhood Profile
Poblenou
The futuristic Agbar Tower stands out from Barcelona's skyline in Poblenou. It is no coincidence then that this area of town is the newly crowned technological park of the city, its own mini Silicon Valley containing a tech incubator (Barcelona Activa) as well as a host of local and international high tech companies. To accommodate the onrush of new residents and workers, the area of Poblenou has seen a surge of activity in new high-rise residential buildings and two top-notch shopping centres catering to everyone's need. The ambiance of this area is calmer than the city center and the beautifully relaxing Bogatell Beach, popular with locals, is just a handful of blocks away.
