I was very disappointed with this accommodation, I only require basic facilities but this didn't even provide that. Whilst the people at reception were very nice, we had a room with no balcony, no wifi, only Spanish channels on the TV - yet all had been advertised as included. You could not drink the water, there were no drink making...

- building and room old and worn-out, but very clean - towels, soap and toilet paper always available - staff very friendly, but don not speak English - free working wi-fi - metro station at your doorstep, 24h grocery shop and great tapas tavernas right around the corner Stayed here with my girlfriend for 6 nights. The workers were great, they let us leave the luggage the last day until 6 PM. We didn't need to pay the city tax. The metro station is right next to the hostel. All in all a fantastic value for the money and I would recommend it to anyone staying in Barcelona.

This place was exactly what I was looking for, cheap and cheerful. It's pretty basic but perfect if your just looking for somewhere to sleep and leave your bags and spend your days exploring the beautiful Barcelona. We booked a double bed and shared bathroom. The room was clean nice sized bed, two bedside lockers, a wardrobe, table with chairs and...

I do recommend this place for young people who like the noise and parties and want to find a cheap accommodation in a frequented place in the city. Otherwise a bit better than spending the night in a tent :)

I was traveling alone and booked a single room for myself at the Pension Iniesta. Before booking I checked 15 different pictures from the booking site about the hostel and the rooms and it all seemed quite okay. Upon my arrival, I could barely find the hostel from the street and I had to ask for help due to the...

The hotel is very convenient located within a short distance to the beach, ramblas and parc montjuic and the metro is just outside the door. Our ensuite room was clean and very comfortable and very quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we were very pleased with our 3 nights stay at Iniesta.

The room does not look very nice - furniture is old and bad looking, but the room is very clean - bathroom included. Position of the hotel is a very big plus for the money paid. Location for people who want a very cheap room in a great location with fast access to port (10 mins walk) and with access...

This is a good accommodation if you want to stay close to the center of everything. The staff is very king and nice but they don't speak English. Staying in Montjuic

Neighbourhood Profile
Montjuic
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colourful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.

“Bring an extra pair of flip-flops to wear in the shower. The floors in the hallways and washroom can sometimes be wet and quite dirty. The nightlife outside was at times loud, but if you shut the large doors in front of the window it reduces the noise a lot (there is a fan so we were able to somewhat stay cool at night). I didn't realize that smoking was permitted in the room, but there was an ashtray on the table so I guess smoking is allowed in the room (I wish it wasn't). They make your bed for your every morning, which I didn't expect, and they also gave us new towels halfway through our stay, which was a pleasant surprise as well.”
