This is a prime location. Staff is reasonably good but nothing outstanding. Rooms are nice (low beds by the way) with great views over the paseo de gracia (although the building right opposite is amongst the ugliest on the street) . Rooms are getting a little tired Breakfast very good(fantastic croissants) Other than it's location this is not a "must...

I really like the 4 star Hotel SixtyTwo, from his mighty bronze entrance door, to its artsy reception area, it's upscale furnishings, the rooms are fully equipped with Bang&Olufsen televisions, Jacob Jensen telephones, Tangent taps, Etro bathroom products, Ipod stations and Nespresso coffee machines. Public honor bar, and the tastefully decorated rooms. We had a room, with a small balcony,...

Set Right on Passieg de Gracia, this hotel is walking distance to all main attractions, including being set right across the street from the Casa Batllo. Luxurious rooms at a great price! They also have free snack refreshments daily.

I liked the hotel after I read some reviews and saw some pictures here on TripAdvisor. I wanted a hotel in the Shopping area, as it's also very nice to walk there in the evening. Great location, great service, decent sized room, there is nothing to complain about this hotel. I spent 25/26 December in Barcelona. I was a bit upset because all shops closed during on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. However hotel Sixtytwo saved my trip. I was so happy with this hotel and it made my entire trip enjoyable. Hope I will...

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Sixtytwo Hotel Barcelona is the perfect hotel for those who enjoy the finer things in life and who appreciate privacy and personalised service. Located on the emblematic Paseo de Gracia surrounded by Barcelona’s best shopping, it is right in the heart of the latest fashion trends and Gaudi’s most representative buildings. The Sixtytwo is an authentic boutique hotel where design and modernism harmonise perfectly.Located between Gaudi’s Casa Batlló and La Pedrera, The Sixtytwo has preserved its 1897 modernist façade and interiors and coupled them with designer furnishings. Tasteful touches courtesy of Moooi, Vitra, B&B and Philippe Starck give life to the hotel lobby and lounge, while the comfort of its 45 rooms is in part thanks to televisions by Bang&Olufsen, telephones by Jacob Jensen, taps by Tangent, Etro bathroom products, iPod stations, intelligent lighting systems and Nespresso coffee machines. At The Sixtytwo, all guests enjoy complimentary internet access. Our breakfast offer, including both a buffet prepared with fresh quality products as well as dishes à la carte cooked to order, will not leave you indifferent. The Sixtytwo Cocktail Lounge is open from 5pm until midnight.
