Our second time in Barcelona, and our second time at the SixtyTwo.

This was an excellent experience, with superior front desk staff (so helpful and personalize everything to perfection), exceptional breakfast, great rooms, fantastic location, and a joy to be within just a vibrant and exciting city!

The location was the primary reason why I chose this hotel. It is a renovated and refurbished building managed by the same people who runs the Sixty-Four Passeig de Gracia Apartments adjacent to the hotel. It's only steps away from the Passeig de Gracia Metro and the R2 line to the Airport, so it's very convenient if public transportation is your primary mode of transport. The are many restaurants and of course, shopping including many brand name shops in the vicinity. Many famous tourist sites are within walking distance, e.g. Sagrada Familia Basilica, Cathedral, market, Picasso Museum, Ramblas...etc. I bought a T10 ticket which allows you to take the metro or bus for 10 trips and at 10.20 Euros it's a bargain. I used it to get to the Nou Camp and back twice for ball games and also to visit Park Guell. The trip to the Airport and return is not covered by the T10. It's 4.20 Euros each way, so convenient and inexpensive. My room was 601, located on the top floor. The room is quite spacious, quiet and all amenities are supplied including a Nespresso machine. I had to request a kettle which was promptly delivered. There are two storages next door and the cleaners and workers are always accessing that area during busy times in the morning. Otherwise, a very comfortable stay. The staff I encountered were friendly and helpful if you have questions, especially Albert and Santi. A bottle of Cava is given to you to drink or take home, which is a nice touch.

My friend and I stayed here for a few nights and felt it was a wonderful home base for our time in Barcelona. We found all the staff to be incredibly helpful without being overbearing as I've experienced in other hotels. I love the concept of having a common lounge area that has a stylish and comfy vibe and was maintained well throughout. We appreciated the complimentary Cava (sparkling wine), the Nespresso machine and infusions, and other treats in this lounge but we were also pleasantly surprised with our nightly treats waiting for us in the room. The location was convenient being across from Casa Batllo and a short walk from la Ramblas, shopping, public transit and many other popular locations that a visitor would be interested in. It was a 20-30 minute drive from the airport.
The room was comfortable with enough space for 2 of us to not feel like we were on top of one another. We had 2 beds, a comfortable washroom with tub, a sitting area with a desk as well as a lovely patio out back with a lounger and small table & chair just for us. At night, with the lights out and curtains drawn we got true darkness. There was a good selection of pillows with some being more firm and others softer. The closet was adequate for 2 of us so we didn't feel like we had to live out of our suitcase the entire time. We felt it was a good value overall. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the walls are incredibly thin and our late & loud neighbours disrupted my sleep a few nights. You can actually hear them open and close their closet doors quite loudly. Thanks to the staff for making us feel pampered without going overboard.

Definitely one of the best places to stay in Barcelona! Great location just between Casa Batllo and Casa Mila. Walking distance from many poinst of interest, including La Sagrada Familia and Barrio Gotico.
Clean and spacious rooms, nice design. My room also had a big terrace with a spectacular Passeig de Gracia view which was priceless.
Extremely pleasant and helpful staff and great complementary features! Coffee-tea facilities in the room, fresh bottled water everyday and a small delicious compliment every evening. Plus a nice and cozy space where you can get free coffee, tea, snacks and cava (!) all day long. To have a glass of cava on the small balcony at Passeig de Gracia by night - what else can you dream for?

This was the greatest way to start my vacation around Spain. This hotel really set the bar high for my expectations moving forward.

First of all, the location was great. It was in a central location and close to the station. Made getting around very easy and you had your choices of places to eat and shop.

Secondly, the staff and amenities at this hotel, one of the best. The staff is friendly, well versed in English, and has one of the warmest smiles. Truly makes a guest feel like they belong and are treated as if we are the most important person in the world. The amenities were great too. They had a lot of items offered at your fingertips rather than just your typical shower items. They also had a delicious breakfast buffet that made you wanting more. They has a good variety of options, but also, the food tasted well cooked and not just something they made for the masses!

Third, the room size is more than adequate with a spacious bathroom. You don't feel like a sardine in your room and also, there is tons of room to unpack and then repack again.

I will definitely be coming back to this hotel. The staff alone is my main reason for return. Without these individuals, i would have been more nervous traveling alone, but here, i felt very comfortable.

I arrived to be told I would have to change rooms the following day ( I later found out this was to accommodate other guest)
I was woken the following day by reception and asked to move rooms before my new room was available. Upon moving to my new room it was apparent that there was no working WiFi. Obviously this is totally unacceptable and I was about ready to insist on a refund and change hotels but thankfully one excellent member of staff had the ability to think outside the box and offered me a free upgrade. Thank you Naseer.

If it hadn’t been for Naseer I would have left feeling very disappointed with the hotel and the service I had received as all other members of staff thought it acceptable to not have working WiFi in the room. As it is Naseer remedied the problem and I left feeling very positive about the place. If I could give 5 stars to Naseer I would he was superb.

Hi we would like to say thank you for the great service at the hotel. Especially by friendly staff Shawn for his hospitality. There is also a another friendly Arminian male staff who worked on 25 Dec 2019 early morning who has great passion in giving us information on what to see in Barcelona. We didn’t catch his name but we appreciate both of their service.

The hotel is located in prime location, great size and we also appreciate the balcony. The bathroom shower products are also great and thank you for the hand written welcome letter and complimentary wine. The stay was memorable!

What an amazing experience from start to finish.
The staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful throughout our whole stay , from helping us book tour tickets to printing off our boarding tickets to return home they couldn’t have done more.
The special treats left in our room daily we’re a great touch and the breakfast buffet was great!

The location is perfect to visit any part of the city , you have the metro right outside which is very easy to use , or if you feel like walking theres plenty to do on your door step.

The beds are very comfortable and the hotel is nice and quiet.

Couldn’t fault this hotel at all , Wouldn’t stay anywhere else from now on.

Thanks for an amazing stay !!

The SixtyTwo Hotel was Outstanding. Getting there from the airport was very easy. The R2N train leaves from Terminal 2 at the airport and drops you off right in front. You are across the street from Casa Batlllo, one of Gaudi’s famous buildings. The area where the hotel is has many restaurants and very high end shops. There is a stop for the Hop On/Hop Off bus tours close by. Las Ramblas, Barcelona’s famous pedestrian street is a few minutes walk away that takes you to the beach about a mile away.

The hotel is clean, modern and quiet. Breakfast was good and a relaxing way to plan your day. The staff was friendly, helpful with restaurant recommendations and spoke very good English.

I’ve been to most of the world and this was one of my favorite hotels.

Is it easier to arrive at Sixtytwo Hotel by the Aerobus or the train from the airport? Thank you.
Answer from Hotel S
The following are the transportation options we recommend using to get from Barcelona El Prat Airport to our hotel; Train For Terminal 2 only. Every 30 minutes more or less you can take the R2N train stopping in Paseo de Gracia Station. It takes 22 minutes from the Terminal 2 to Paseo de Gracia train Station. And the Sixtytwo Hotel is just in the exit gate. Bus The Aerobus departs from the airport every 5 minutes. It will take you to Plaça de Catalunya, which is about a 15 minute walk from our hotel. The price of the Aerobus ticket is €6.00 per person and travel-time is generally about an hour long. Subway Take line L9 (Orange) to Zona Universitària and transfer to line L3 (Green) until the Paseig de Gracia subway station. From there, it is a 2 minute walk to our hotel. The total cost is €5.00 per person, and it will take you around 1 hour. Taxi It is also possible to take a conventional taxi from the airport to the hotel. Depending on traffic, travel time is generally around 30 minutes, and the cost is usually around €40.00. We are looking forward to welcoming you soon! Kind regards,
