We booked this to go with an offer from Ryandare. It was exactly what we imagined - clean student type accommodation in the heart of the city. Don't expect five star for the price but the beds were clean and comfortable, staff were exceptionally friendly ( printed out our boarding passes for us)the bathroom was clean and modern but there...

Easy to check in and an amazing spot above one of our favourite wine bars in the city (Zim is a must!) We decided to add two additional nights and the staff were super accommodating (speaking French, Spanish and English) Barcelona is our home but when we can't make use of our own apartment this is the next best thing...

My family booked this apartment thinking that it would be a modern space in a great location. However, once we arrived at reception, we found out that the actual place was BLOCKS away, which was very inconvenient to reach with our suitcases. Also, when we arrived at the apartment, the key simply did not work! We had to try over...

Stayed here for a couple of nights in November with two other friends. Arrived in barcelona late about midnight, got a taxi which was around €30. When we got to the office it was closed but rang the number on the door and someone said they would be with us in 5 minutes. Ended up walking down some side streets,...

We booked this property (AinB Gothic-Juame I Apartments, Calle Jaume 1, 13, Ciutat Vella, 08002 Barcelona, Spain) based on the description on booking.com which described the accommodation as a modern apartment featuring stylish décor in a central location. The accommodation was said to be fitted with a kitchen, microwave and coffee maker which sounded perfectly suitable for me and my...

Also called ZZ AinB at Carrer d'Ataülf, 11. We were looking for and reserved an apartment with kitchen amenities because of an extended stay in Barcelona. What we got was what appeared to be a cheaply furnished apartment with a kitchen however: - Oven/microwave did not work - Dishwasher had been removed - kitchen very poorly equipped, not able to...

Firstly, I am a woman of 65, who is travelling alone.I was originally given a studio at Calle de la Dagueria 18, in the attic. Nothing wrong with the studio except it was reached by a narrow steep spiral staircase that I found impossible to navigate in safety.I was moved with no fuss the following day to Gothic Jaume 1,...

Place is supposed to be open 9AM. I arrived there right on the dot and waited with 4 other people that were also waiting for their apartment. The owner eventually showed up around 9:45AM. Left my bag and came back @ 1PM since the room was not ready yet. Was provided with a dirty and old room/furniture, sub-par apartment. The...

This apartment was in a superb location in the gothic quarter of Barcelona. The apartment itself was adequate, fairly well equipped, but sadly the decor was very tired, so much so that we decided not to prepare and eat food ourselves, because it was not a particularly pleasant place to sit. This did not spoil the holiday, but I don't...

“Barcelona is an amazing city. We loved every minute of our 1 week stay - we never stopped and perhaps saw only half of what there is to see. The Gothic quarter has to be experienced to be believed, recommend a trip to the Olympic Park and walk around the top of the "old bull ring" and of course the Sagrada Familia is an absolute must visit. Buy a ten trip Metro ticket and get around the city. The best recommendation I can give is that I will very definitely return”
