We stayed here for three nights in September in one of the junior suites. The rooms, while small, are beautiful and cleverly designed. The rainfall shower was a pleasure to come back to each night. Having stayed in many city hotels the standout of this hotel was how quiet it was. Not once did we hear an upstairs or adjacent neighbor and the windows were clearly designed to block street noise because one evening when the patio door was left slightly ajar, we could hear the difference. It was a pleasure to have such a quiet room. Breakfast is served in the chic restaurant downstairs and had plenty of options although our selection as vegans was extremely limited. The staff were plentiful and helpful and requests for items to be sent to the room were responded to promptly.
While we would definitely stay here again, there were a few small things that distinguish this hotel from five star hotels which we’ve stayed at in the past. Housekeeping’s attention to detail could be improved and we frequently had to ask for extra towels and toiletries. The bathroom door hook was hanging off its hinge before we arrived and there was a stain on the bathroom wall that preceded our arrival and could have been removed with some elbow grease. We were also disappointed by the limited breakfast options for vegans and essentially ordered the same breakfast items each morning. Finally, while staff were eager to help when asked, they often did not volunteer to help either at food service or in other ways that are typical at high caliber hotels. These are not deal breakers but, if improved upon, would make this hotel stellar.

Fantastic stay at The One! Great location, great facillities, and WONDERFUL staff members giving exceptional service. Each and every one of them were a part of making our holiday memorable. The hotel is at all times clean. Your room gets cleaned practically whenever it suits your day and they also offer turndown service, so when you return from a night out, the curtains have been shut and slippers are placed by your bedside.

Perfect hotel for a mini break. We notified the hotel that we were celebrating our anniversary and they kindly upgraded us on arrival and had a bottle of fizz and chocolates waiting In The room. Breakfast is amazing definitely worth paying the extra, it’s served to you from a vast menu and you can have many plates as you wish. Food on the rooftop is delicious and this area is also perfect for sundowners. The pool area is small but does everything that is needed, was always a sun lounger available for a few hours to relive your feet. Remember most people go to Barcelona to sight see so people only tend to use this pool area for 2 hours and then move on. The spa is lovely, very clean and complimentary to guests. Concierge was very helpful when I needed a map and a taxi and security was always at reception which was good to see. I was advised Barcelona was full of pick pockets and to be on guard but I found this area very safe we even took a evening stroll and found a beautiful dessert shop and square to watch people go by.

We are a family of four from the US (two adults and two teenagers). We stayed for three nights in two room the Deluxe and the Junior Corner Suite.
We had a great stay at The One and would recommend this hotel. Below are some observations that may be helpful.
The good: Staff is very attentive and the selling feature of this hotel. Everyone is helpful, polite, and goes out of their way to ensure that your needs are taken care of. The beds and linens are top quality. We slept great and this is a priority for us. Housekeeping was fantastic - plenty of towels, toiletries, etc. Breakfast was top quality as was the breakfast service Location was central and taxis were always available just across the street
The bad: We didn’t run into any issues or areas for concern. The rooftop pool is small and the sitting area is as well. We had dinner at the rooftop restaurant and that seemed to be popular with groups who wanted to take photos. The food was ok….but I wasn’t expecting it to be any better than that. The guest room doors open into the bathroom. It worked out fine….but just a warning for those who aren’t ok with this setup.
Thoughts: We usually book the lower level rooms since we don’t spend that much time in the hotel during our travels. The price difference from the Deluxe room to Jr Corner Suite was $130 per night. I do think it is worth upgrading to the Junior Corner Suite. Our daughters stayed in the Deluxe room which was in a corner, on a lower floor, next to a service door, and faced a dark alley. The room served its purpose. Our room was filled with windows, had a very nice sitting area and had great views. The upgrade was worth it. I think your impression would be completely different of this hotel if you had the Deluxe room we were given versus the Jr Corner Suite. If you can afford the more expensive room I say do it!

Barcelona is one of our favourite cities and we have visited for many years (pandemic excluded!). In recent years we chose to stay in a 5 star hotel close to the beach however this hotel looked pricey when we enquired this time and we also wanted to be nearer the heart of the city. We have also stayed in a number of H10 hotels in the past but we chose The One following a brief visit for lunch there last October . From the moment we arrived the service was excellent.
Our room at The One was quirky - clever design makes maximum use of space so the sleeping area, shower and bathroom are spacious and all facilities are right up to date. It should be noted however that the room design creates very small hanging wardrobe space so this might not suit longer stays or people who don't travel light!
Being one parallel street away from Passeig de Gracia means that you are right in the centre of the city's prime location with great shops and restaurants close by.
The hotel is bright and modern in every respect with an excellent rooftop sundeck and splash pool with magnificent views of the city. Adjacent to this in The Mood casual dining restaurant where the food and service is also first class.
Our deal included breakfast facilities where the service and food was really good too. The hotel also presented us with surprise gifts of wine and sweets.
Apart from one occasion when we received a somewhat terse message from reception which, as it transpired, was down to poor communication and was swiftly resolved, we had no complaints or problems.
We would happily chose The One for future visits to this wonderful city.

The One Barcelona is an excellent hotel. The service is exceptional from the moment you check in, with attentive staff providing a thorough room tour and impeccable housekeeping. The front desk and concierge teams are amazing; they are very helpful and friendly. Our Junior Corner Suite was spacious enough for two adults and one child. The hotel's location is excellent, situated in the neighborhood near Casa Mila. During our stay, we enjoyed the rooftop swimming pool and restaurant, which offer beautiful views of Barcelona. We definitely plan to return to this hotel for our next visit and highly recommend it to everyone.

We spent 4 nights at the One Barcelona in October and we loved it! The location is so close to shopping and restaurants and the hotel was a delight to return to at the end of a busy day. The staff are so welcoming and attentive to any need you may have. The concierge staff member Natcho (sp?) was great helping us book reservations.
We booked a 'junior suite' which had a luxurious ambience with high end furnishings and attention to detail. The suite had tons of space for luggage, plenty of outlets for electronics, a comfortable bed and luxurious sheets and pillows. The layout for the bathroom seemed odd but it turned out to be an ingenious use of space. Certainly not the standard cramped bathroom. The shower and toilet are in separate spaces leaving a large dressing area with closets and safe for valuables, mirror and double vanities. Room was kept meticulously clean throughout our stay!
We booked with the breakfast option and the menu had lots of choices and we enjoyed the food.
The hotel has the Mood' rooftop bar and we took advantage of the warm October weather with a visit every evening during our stay Great views! We liked the 'resort style' casual atmosphere. Moises, Lorena,and Tania were friendly and attentive and made us feel so comfortable! Moises helped us choose a local wine which we enjoyed very much. We ordered from the menu and the avocado roll and mushroom croquettes were favourites.
'The One Barcelona' is probably our favourite stay (and most relaxed) at any European hotel we stayed in over the years. Yes, it is that good!!!!

I paid so much money for a 3 night stay and to be honest, I thought we were going to be wowed. Well no, we weren't. The 5 star hotel won't even give you some bottles of complimentary water nor anything in your room. PLEASE look at the price we paid on my receipt and you'll think we would have had some complimentary items included. Yes, we had bad breakfasts included. Yes, we were given a bottle of champagne ( first day) any 5 star should and some chocolates ( last day ) , however, I expected just a little more. Maybe we were spoiled by Corpo Santo Historical Hotel in Lisbon ( which we stayed for 4 nights prior to Barcelona ). Gosh, they should take lessons. I'm still sticker shocked at what we paid and my son slept had to sleep on a sofa bed. Really? You should have a room with another bed. At Corpo we had 2 rooms ( king size beds, 2 bathrooms ) and complimentary room mini bar with sodas, beers, water in each room. They had 2 walking tours during the day "everyday" for 2 hours a piece, which Ana their guide was amazing. They had a gelato machine in the lobby. They had a wine tasting free of charge every evening. A 20 min massage included. Complimentary snacks in the lobby 24/7 and complimentary snacks on each floor. Seriously, they should stay there and get come pointers. I feel cheated and disappointed. Sure their concergie was charming, so what. Sure we received a free duck to take home. What a disappointment, I cannot honest recommend The One to anyone! Additionally, we thought the transfer was already paid for to the airport, they charged 180.00. If I had known it wasn't paid for already I would have cancelled, it was just when we were ready to leave they informed me it was not paid for. That's a steep price and when I questioned the receptionist, she said " it's a fancy transport" hell it better be. It was just a mercedes van. Disappointed again, live and learn. Check the image of my receipt. Wouldn't you be giving this review if you didn't even get some complimentary water.

I had an incredible stay at One Barcelona. From the moment I arrived, every interaction I had with the staff—whether it was the concierge, front desk, bellman, waitress, or housekeeping—made me feel like a truly valued guest. I had been in touch with them a lot before my trip to get advice on tours and book restaurant reservations, and every call was handled with such care and professionalism.
The hotel’s location on Passeig de Gracia is perfect, like staying on 5th Avenue in NYC, surrounded by high-end shops and tons of great restaurants. The Mood Rooftop at the hotel is a busy spot with fantastic food and stunning views of the Sagrada Familia.
Unfortunately, I got really sick from something I ate outside the hotel, but the staff were amazing. They went above and beyond, cleaning up after me, offering me hot tea, and even allowing a late checkout so I could rest. Their kindness made all the difference.
The concierge gave me great recommendations throughout my stay, and I loved that they greeted me by name every time. The room was so cozy, with an amazing rainfall shower and a super comfortable bed. If you're looking for a luxurious and memorable experience in Barcelona, I highly recommend One Barcelona. The service, the location, and the overall vibe are outstanding.

We spent 3 nights in this beautiful hotel in an excellent location. All staff, concierge, waiters, bellmen are professional, courteous, and helpful. Concierge Enrique was especially helpful in assisting me with shipping items home, even providing a box to pack items. Rooms are very well equipped with robes, slippers, toothbrushes, safe, shaving kit, electrical outlet with USA voltage, USB ports, bathroom scale, huge bath towels and a makeup mirror with good lighting in bathroom. My only complaint is the pillows, although large, flattened down to almost nothing. Fortunately there were tow per person so I could double up. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. The rooftop bar/restaurant offers a wonderful view of the city. Didn't take advantage of the main restaurant or the pool. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone.

Unaware, sorry. We had a grand deluxe terrace room and it had a beautiful bathroom with a large seperate shower room and seperate toilet… it’s a fabulous room with the most gorgeous terrace which is very private and protected from any weather.. enjoy .

The concierge can certainly help you, but doing it online is incredibly easy. You secure a time, and show up reasonably close to that time for admission. It is more a means of crowd control than anything, but they are strict about not letting people in without a reservation.
