Out of fashion hotel, but very quiet and just in the city centre. Pity they don't serve breakfast but you can have it at Plantaciones, just down the hotel. Rooms very clean and not luxurious but comfortable.

Gorgeous hotel. For a very reasonable price a stayed in the room of 4-star hotel level - comfortable bed, TV with satellite channels, clean and big bathroom, hairdryer and even a disposable comb and sponge for washing. Wi-fi works well. Reception staff were friendly. Location cannot theoretically be better - between the Cathedral and the Plaza Mayor, 20 min walk of railway station.

The hostal is very well located. The room we got was very clean and well decorated. The drawback is that it is very noisy at night (windows are not well isolated) and you may get waked up. The staff is nice and helpful.

For breakfast, you can have a very descent one at the next corner in "plantaciones" for 2-3 euros.

The room was nice but very difficult to get a good night's rest because of all the outside noise from the bus station nearby. So while the location was central, that was also the main problem with the room.

The hotel is extremely well located, moments from the Plaza Mayor, and many good restaurants and bars are just off the far side of the square.

It is an extremely cheap hotel, and for that you get a very basic facilities. But it is clean and comfortable, and reasonably quiet (I could hear the family in the next room on the second night, and also some noise from the street, but it wasn't too bad).

The spiral staircase up the centre of the building is an interesting feature.

The front desk staff were extremely friendly and nice, no faults there.

There is no breakfast offered by the hotel, you go to a neighbouring cafe. The hotel website is a little misleading in that it suggests they have an arrangement with a local cafe and the carpark in the Plaza Mayor. Whilst that is strictly true, it is simply if you require everything to be listed on your hotel bill - there is no saving or convenience.

Like some other reviewers, we found the wi-fi variable. It would drop out for periods.

If you are looking for a cheap, clean, central place to put your head down at night, this is it. However if you are after anything even remotely romantic/unique/special, you should go elsewhere.

Perfect location in the city centre, just round the corner from the plaza mayor, very friendly and helpful staff, small but clean bedroom, comfortable bed, bathroom with toiletries. Good double-glazing and air-conditioning, so very quiet at night.
No breakfast room, but excellent cafe next door, with fresh pastries and great coffee (very reasonably priced).

This place is the best value for money you can imagine. Rooms are super clean, spaceious and comfortable and the personal service is beyond any other 4-star hotel. Hotelmanager Roberto goes allthe way to make sure you get the most out of your stay in Valladolid. Crazy low prize and crazy high standard for money spent.

I stayed at the Hostal Paris in Valladolid for about 2 weeks this fall as I was getting my daughter settled with a new teaching job in town. Our room was beautiful, spacious and spotless. The hostal is right around the corner from the magnificent Plaza Mayor and has a main bus stop nearby and a taxi koisk within a 5 minute walk, so the location is perfect. There are many delicious tapa bars and restaurants also within a 5 minute walk. The staff at the Hostal was so wonderful and helpful and the lovely Lara at the front desk many times helped us with Spanish to English translation when we needed it. I hope to return next year in the spring, and would wholeheartedly recommend this hostal for people visiting Vallladolid.

Hotel is situated just off Plaza Mayor and is within 20 minute walk of railway station and 30 minutes of bus station. A supermarket is about 10 minutes away. It is in an old building which is shared with commercial offices. I found entrance to the building a bit depressing. There are not many fast-food places in town, but many restaurants of all types nearby.
Medium size room with linoleum flooring and tiled bathroom. Has windows onto street giving natural light. Two single beds, one writing desk and chair, suitcase stand, wardrobe, mini-bar, but locked so cannot be used as fridge. Reasonable size bathroom has bath with shower, bidet and hairdryer.
Normal size lift, wi-fi, air-conditioning and wall-mounted flat screen tv.
Reception staff were friendly, but shelter behind a glass screen in a little cubby hole.
