Stayed here a few times now en route to Portugal and suits us perfectly. Big spacious rooms and good covid measures though food options for children was limited and though staff were multi lingual and helped the menu did not cater much for kids, except breakfast which was a nice broad range of items. Last visit coffee machines brojevreadily, no repeat this year.
Thankfully pool was open for us and a McDonald’s is next door if you like them. Ample free parking on road to avoid hotel fees and thankfully our room overlooked our car as well. Quiet and air conditioned rooms, clean, well equipped and a great nights sleep on a long trip which we will continue to utilise on future trips again.

Stayed here many times now en route to Portugal and suits us perfectly. Big spacious rooms and good covid measures though food options for children was limited, we used the adjacent macdonalds in the evening. breakfast was a nice broad range of items. Pool was very cold, small and easily fills up. Covid measure adherence sensible and helped too to get a LFT needed locally for entry into Portugal as well. Ample free parking on road to avoid hotel fees and thankfully our room overlooked our car as well. Quiet and air conditioned rooms, clean, well equipped and a great nights sleep on a long trip which we will continue to utilise on future trips again. One glitch both ways was a faulty sink plug, though odd it was fixed twice, quickly.

Excellent parking, though pricey.
Brilliant stop over point for us, partway between France and Portugal.
Reception staff very friendly and helpful speaking excellent English and were extremely pleasant.
Our room 516 on 5th floor was superb. Very large room, bed was amazingly comfortable and enough pillows were provided.
Bathroom again was large and had a bath with hand held shower attachment, but a full size shower was also in the bathroom in its own cubicle, so bathing to suit.
Breakfast was excellent again with staff who were pleasant and only too keen to assist.
Loved the place, loved the staff.
This is a dog friendly hotel unfortunately the charge of 20.00 euros is a bit steep for a dog.

This hotel is about 25 minutes walk from the city and has a good car park, albeit for €13 extra a night. Taxi to the center is only €7. We used the hotel as a stopover before getting the ferry from Santander.
Small pool, oversubscribed and extremely cold. Room smelled of smoke upon arrival, aircon barely noticeable. Beds super uncomfortable. Good wifi. No complimentary water in Room. Toilet broken and constantly draining in the night. Staff helpful.
Breakfast not too bad, busy but a reasonable spread.
Fine for one night but concluded that we could have found better in a more interesting location.

The hotel was easy to reach from the highway. It has good parking both underground and open air, so no problems if you have a large vehicle. The hotel is dog friendly and there is a very large park across the road. It is reached via a pedestrian bridge so no need to cross the busy road. Our suite was large, more than big enough for us and our 2 dogs. The bed was very comfortable. We ate dinner in the restaurant and it was good and a good price.
Disliked · The check in staff were a bit abrupt and not very welcoming. The bottom sheet on the bed was not the right size, it did not tuck in under the mattress so it did not stay in place. The sliding door between the bathroom and the bedroom was very dusty.

I'm sad I'm writing this review after giving a glowing report in April this year .
How can 2 separate visits be so different !
We visited last night on our way from Portugal to Santander ferry for 1 night with our dog .
The room was dirty , terrible stains on the floor and the desk chair , not remotely the standard we have enjoyed on our 2 previous visits .
But the worse part of this stay was the reception staff . I was trying to make a cup of tea this morning at 7am , only to discover there hadn't been any milk provided on the hospitality tea tray .
I caught the lift , from our room on the 3rd floor to ask for some milk ....the Lady and the Gentleman on reception were exceptionally rude ,
When I asked , they told me it wasn't possible as the breakfast area wasn't open until 7.30 and there was nothing they could - or more to the point - would do.
They told me none would have been provided ??? I challenged by asking why there was a kettle and hospitality tray in my room if no milk was provided .
To this , the Lady retorted that " it wasn't her fault , it was a housekeeping issue " .
I was alarmed by this behaviour , for a 4 star Hotel , Zero customer service skills .
So I returned to my room , unable to make a drink .
This has totally put me off ever returning .
On a brighter note , the food on an evening is good , and the breakfast offering very good and plentiful , but that attitude , and the dirty room outweighs any positive .

The room is spacious with a big and comfy bed. Bathroom has shower, bathtub, toilet and bidet and a sink. Great choice of toiletries. Parking is just outside the hotel or in the underground car park. Breakfast had great choice of offers including hot, cold , sweets and fruits. The hotel is about 8-10 minutes by car to Plaza Mayor parking for downtown Valladolid walks. Check-out can be as late as 12:00. Fast and stable internet.

The room was fine though it would have been nice to have USB ports by the bed. On my side of the bed there was a small shelf but there was a telephone on it so there was no room for anything that I might have wanted to put on the shelf. The restaurant was very overpriced for what was extremely average quality food. My main course was €16 for just a small tuna slice sitting on the plate with nothing else with it. Very expensive and disappointing.

Lovely clean room. Very comfortable air conditioning. Great pool and breakfast is good. Would definitely stay again. Generally a peaceful and comfortable environment. Staff helpful and polite.
Unfortunately we can't recommend eating at the hotel, aside from breakfast, we did try and won't be doing so again. Several options nearby or venture in to town. Our experiences were that the main menu doesn't come with any potato options unless you have burgers. The staff don't check if the food is ok, and it can be difficult to attract their attention.
The steak is served with just some tempura veg, no sauce or potatoes. Tried the chicken burger and it was served undercooked- they did take it off the bill, but raw chicken is quite a serious concern.

+1
On my return trip to Porto, from a long trip through Spain and France with at least 10 hotel bookings, I booked a 4-star hotel in Valladolid again for the last time.
The way I was received and treated by the reception was not promising for my stay: the inexperienced receptionist had difficulty finding my booking and appeared not to be trained in proper communication and reception of guests.
More important: the room assigned appeared to be outdated with a lot of deferred maintenance. See the photos of the very poor condition of the bathroom, the curtains and the damages on the wall. None of this suit a 4-star hotel and should not be possible. You would rather expect this level from a cheap hostal for budget tourists.
The real discomfort only became apparent late in the evening and during the night. All the rooms around my room were occupied by Spanish teenagers from a group reservation from Palencia who were constantly in the hallways and loudly banging the room doors until deep in the night Two urgent requests to the receptionist and one to the group leader to put an end to the nuisance did not help. My formal complaint in the morning when checking out also received little attention of the receptionist: ´sorry, but there is not much we can do about it´.
I have rarely experienced such an unprofessional attitude in a hotel. This hotel, like so many hotels, has to rely on mass reservations where service to individual guests becomes secondary.
What an awful experience. No recommendation to stay.
