Detailed Reviews
This hotel is inexpensive to stay. However was a little hard to find when in a car and in the dark, as I think it's the only hotel that you can't drive to the front, as its pedestrian only. But once found staff very welcoming. Lovely room, but no water and no way of making a coffee or tea. But it's only minutes from the square and you can buy what ever you need.

I stayed at the Amadeus with a friend for 4 nights in Sept 2005. We had been to Valladolid earlier in the year and had selected this hotel (having walked round to see quite a few) as it was near to the main square and near to the Plaza D'Espana where there were buses and taxis available. These were the main criteria for selecting this hotel as it we were there to see a sporting event that required a bus or taxi to the stadium each day.
The hotel itself isn't huge and there weren't any leisure facilities on site but the rooms and bathrooms are nice and clean. Breakfast is very continental with just a coffee, juice and a croissant but quite adequate to start the day. There wasn't a restaurant on site but there are plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance.
If staying here be sure to go and join in the 'promenade' for a couple of hours before dinner when the whole town, young and old, walks round the town for an evening stroll.
The hotel staff were helpful and were happy to order taxis if you couldn't be bothered to walk the 2 minutes to the Plaza.
We had an enjoyable trip and I would stay here again.

A comfortable hotel in a pedestrianised zone of Valladolid which was well located for exploring the town. Parking is underground, accessed via a lift from Calle Alegria which was a bit tight but most central hotels seemed to operate this type of parking access. Our room was at the front of the hotel and our only niggle was the incessant beeping of the pedestrian crossing on Calle Duque de la Victoria which seemed to operate when no one wanted to cross.

Centrally located and reasonable value. Classic style but quiet, clean and comfortable. Hotel quite small but the room is a good size. Comes with a DVD player as alternative to local nightlife. Close to Plaza Mayor. Also a Carrefour supermarket at the end of the street.

This hotel has a good location, very nice infrastructure...huge bathroom, large room. Very few staff, the same persom is at the front desk and serves you breakfast. Breakfast is very limitted indeed...it looked liked they had just purchased next door something to serve us...we had to ask for this or that. Internet connection very poor, we had everytime to enter again with 2 different password/pin , the same net would not work in the room and lobby.

+1
The rooms has lot of space and the staff gives you a personalized attention so you can feel very comfortable in your staying. Also, is in the middle of the city so you don't need car or public transportation. It has differents wifi in every floor, so if you need to work with the internet, its going to be really fast.
If you go to Peñafiel, you must visit the "BODEGA VALPINCIA" that is situated in the "Rivera del Duero". Best wines ever!

The receptionist...he did it all...parking my car in tiny undergroung garage, posing as a tourist guide, being my support team with the cleaning lady, when I came back from the morning run, preparing our breakfast...some people were complaining about breakfast not being the buffet....I loved this...the guy prepared everything I asked for, it was like at home. I will certainly come back to Valladolid, also because of this hotel.

Our granddaughter was studying at the University of Vallodolid, so this hotel was a great choice. We walked everywhere. Convenient to the town center and the local grocery store, etc. We were able to walk to an area where you could get buses and trains. Felt very safe in the hotel area, as well as the entire town. What a gem!!!!

Lovely little hotel in the centre of Valladolid literally 5 minutes to the main square with all its restaurants and bars. Secure parking via a narrow garage into a lift and down under the hotel. This seems fairly standard in Spanish city hotels. We have a Cherokee jeep so it was a little challenging but we did it!
There is no restaurant and the breakfast looked underwhelming, we went to the square instead.
Room is comfortable and the receptionist was friendly and helpful. The hotel is not expensive.
Negatives:
1. No bottled water in the room
2. No safe
3. No tissues
Positives :
1. Inexpensive
2. Great location
3. Parking

Hola, Nuestra habitación deba a la calle de la fachada del Hotel y si era bastante silenciosa ... además, por esa calle, que es semipeatonal, no pasan muchos coches. No me fijé si tenian las ventanas doble acristalamiento
