The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the Renfe station and everything is nearby. Allocated room on the 4th floor facing the back courtyard so it was very quiet. The room was a good size, bed was a tad soft and small but the bedding was crisp and clean. As mentioned in other reviews, the A/C and heating does not seem to work but the windows open so you have some fresh air, not sure what it would be like in the summer heat.
Bathroom was as you would expect, large tub/overhead shower and plenty of space. Soap and shampoo dispensers fixed to the wall ( bring back soap bars )
There was a lot of wardrobe space for your clothes and room for your luggage. There is also a small selection of items in the mini bar and kettle to make tea / coffee if you so wish !
Breakfast was not included in my rate but there are several breakfast spots right next door including Sesentta among others . Do ask and enjoy your welcome glass of sparkling wine which was laid out by reception as well as some sweets , fruit and complimentary water. The bar stays open until 11.30 / midnight so you can have a drink before or after your dinner and enjoy the tranquility of the courtyard .
It's a very short walk to Plaza Mayor and all the shops, bars , restaurants and sights. Wifi was easy to connect to and worked very well , the front desk were happy to help with any directions you needed and the tourist office is nearly directly opposite by the fountain and the Campo Grande park. Valladolid was a lovely city and definitely worth a visit if you are considering it.
Still being in the winter season the room was very hot but easily rectified by opening the window.
The bathroom was large with large bath tub and bidet and bright with cream tiles. The positioning of the liquid soap dispensers was not ideal for access when sitting in the bath.
The room had a light coloured wooden floor and was spacious with a writing desk and chair. Also useful was the kettle for making teas and coffees.
On the first morning there was a large queue for breakfast but the room was opened out from day two onwards. The breakfast is simple but adequate and there is very good coffee from the machine.
This is a modern hotel in an older building overlooking the park and about ten minutes walk from Plaza Mayor.
The hotel is ideal for a short break in Valladolid and I would use it again.
Very recommendable and only a couple of hours drive to Santander for the ferry.
We would certainly return here.
The hotel had strikingly good lifts and spacious gathering places. Right outside the main door was a boulevard with plane trees and across from it a large park with numerous tame squirrels and an aviary of assorted colourful caged birds ranging from chickens to budgerigars. There were many places to eat nearby.
Breakfast was good. In our journey from England to Portugal this was definitely the best value for money hotel we encountered.
The entrance to the underground carpark is daunting at first but easier to get out of than it feels to get in. We hope one day to return.
It is in an excellent location, a few minutes walk to the train station and no more than 10 minutes walk to the city center.
Very pleasant staff. The room was spacious, elegant, with a very comfortable bed and two balconies facing the beautiful park "Campo Grande". These are called 'room with a view". The others face an interior courtyard. It was a quiet room, even when I opened the balcony.
The staff was pleasant and friendly. I did not use the bar or restaurant. I was surprise to see a good number of places to eat, American style (from hamburgers to fried chicken) within 100 meters from the hotel, not that I went to any.
I will comeback to this hotel with no hesitation

"The rooms facing the park are prettiest and you just need to be ok with a little noise if you stay over the weekend."Read full review
