This is a wonderful small hotel very close to the city centre. Great value, clean and very friendly staff. Definitely recommend, unless you cannot sleep with aircon on, as the windows did not open in the room we had.

A small hotel in a quiet square close to the city centre. Very friendly staff who couldn't have been more helpful. Perfectly clean room, small but adequate. Not sure what the procedure would be for returning late at night when the front door is locked. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

We arrived at Salamanca around 5:00am and the staff at the hotel was kind enough to keep our luggage while we walked until the check in at 1:00pm. The room was clean and very comfortable. The city is clean and safe and has lots of great places to visit (like Plaza Mayor, Roman bridge and Casa de las conchas).

This was a centrally located hotel, It was easy to find. The room was fine though the bath was small as are most European bathrooms. The staff was pleasant and helpful. I felt the hotel offered good value for the room rate. We would stay there again!

The Hotel Gabriel y Galan is excellent value for your money. I stayed there 4 nights and would certainly stay again. The location is convenient and safe, right between the old and new towns, and a short, pleasant walk to the old city centre. There's some noise from traffic, however the rooms have double-glazing and blinds which effectively block out...

We stayed in a double room that had a small, old and sagging bed. The door was very thin and smaller than the door frame, so you can hear everyone's comings and goings and see the light from the hallway going on and off. You can also hear the water when people from other rooms use he washrooms. On the...

This was the only cheap hotel left for me and my friend in Salamanca and I was worried because it is only one star but it turned out to be great, very clean really nice bathroom, good location and really friendly staff. Plus it was nice and warm not like other cheap hotels I've stayed in. I was really pleasantly...

Excellent priced hotel. I stayed one night and Salamanca makes an excellent 1.5-2 day trip from Madrid. The hotel is further out from the center of it all, and you will have to walk....but I think that is better to get to know the city and see the people. There is an interesting old library just outside the hotel and...

It's fun reading these reviews as this hotel which was a hostal in 1974-1975 was a fantastic residence for my roommate and me while we were students at the University. The room was wonderful although the bathrooms and showers were shared at the end of the hall. I look forward to visiting Spain (hopefully in not too long) and spending...

I stayed for only one day in Salamanca while travelling through Spain, and this place was a great choice. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and really wanted me to feel like at home. The place was nice and clean, and even though the room was not very big, it was comfortable and quiet. It's located less than 10...
