This is truly one of the nicest hotels we've ever had the good fortune to experience. The service, the amenities, the location, the breakfast - all is top notch. Absolutely lovely, and really will return when he come back to Salamanca.

We stayed for one night at this small boutique hotel and were impressed with the excellent service and the feeling of being in a private home. The rooms were spotless and the beds very comfortable. Breakfast was beautifully prepared with plenty of options. The hotel is well located near the river and the Roman arched bridge. Would highly recommend this...

The Hotel Rector is located right outside the city walls of Salamanca. It is a lovely location. Right between the river and the old town. NO need for a car to see the sights! The hotel is perfectly run. Our room was impeccable. When in Salamanca I can't imagine wanting to stay any place else

Beautiful hotel conveniently situated near the old town. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and luxurious. Breakfast is served in an elegant room with fresh juice and hot food prepared to order. The staff are not only welcoming and helpful, but kind. One of our party rejoined us after returning to the UK for a funeral. The staff were awaiting her...

We stayed two nights en-route with our car. A warm welcome included helpful suggestions for places to visit and eat. Enclosed car parking made access easy. All the staff went out of their way to enhance our short visit to Salamanca. The quality of accommodation was sublime. A glass of wine in the lounge/bar area set us up for dinner...

Stayed here for one night en route south. Beautiful building, really nice spacious room. Staff were unfailingly charming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast ( included) was one of the nicest hotel breakfast I've had. Hotel has a limited amount of parking which is secure, albeit a bit tight for large vehicles. We were given a list of restaurants that they recommend,...

We came to Salamanca for two nights and we were fortunate enough to stay here. We came from Madrid where we had stayed in a very nice hotel but the Hotel Rector was in another league. We arrived by taxi and a young lady came out of the hotel to greet us. She gave us a map of Salamanca, pointed...

A treat for ourselves on our journey through Spain. Wonderfully situated, exceptionally welcoming, well equipped and lovely rooms. Perfect breakfast and everything of the highest quality. Garage parking and attentive staff. Dogs welcome. Absolutely loved this hotel and the city which is amazing. But, it is expensive. A treat.
