This was the first hotel treat whilst walking the Camino Frances. After two weeks walking a rest day was warranted and this hotel came in at the right price. For what was I thought a very reasonable, almost budget price this hotel offered a lot more than expected. Whilst the single room was quite small it was well appointed with...

Great location and place to stay if you are walking the Camino into Burgos. It is located in the old part of town, close to the cathedral and main plaza. The rooms are basic with a nice bathroom. It is quiet but you can hear noise from the room above. The buffet breakfast is better than most. The staff was...

It was a little hard to find the hotel from the outskirts of Burgos as the Camino is not well-marked until you get closer to the historic center. After a long day on the camino, it's great to finally arrive here at Hotel Cordon. I was greeted by a friendly front desk receptionist. The interior is humble, welcoming and quaint....

Spent a couple of rest days here last year after a 55km walk and could not recommend higher. The staff were all friendly and went out of their way to help you, not the case in some of the other hotels we came across! The location is good for exploring the city, easy to find and good value for money.

We paid about 75 Euros per night for this three-star property during Holy Week (high season) which I consider quite fair considering the location and accommodation. For our purposes, the location was great: We arrived by bus and it took about 15 minutes to walk from the station to the hotel. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the...

We spent just one night here on a road trip from England to Southern Spain and were travelling with our two small dogs. I stayed one night at this hotel during my Camino de Santiago hike. My Camino friend had booked to stay at Hotel Cordon for us. This hotel is in a great location and the rooms are adequate. Strangely decorated perhaps but the bathrooms were modern and clean and the room was spacious enough and quiet, with very distant street noise audible when the window is open. Very close to the Camino de Santiago. In the center of every thing. Enjoyed soaking in the tub. Clean sheets and fluffy towels. The 3 Euro breakfast can't be missed. But... tall people should not stay on the 4th floor.
