Booked a discounted rate and received a room in the attic, but it was OK. The attic room was a bit dark but had some light via a ceiling window. Overall, hotel functioned well. Front Desk Clerk was exceptionally helpful... a real gem. Hotel was located perfectly for seeing all sites inside the old city. Breakfast was good. Location was...

We have in the hotel at least 15 rooms in the attic, so you got a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor not for the discounted rate, it was because we have at least 50% of the hotel in the attic. We are glad that you had a good stay with us and we look forward to welcoming you...

Hotel was fine for visiting Toledo, away from the bustle of the centre, but in walking distance, or a bus ride from just outside the door. If arriving by train you can get a bus (no 5) from outside the station to the bus station (1 stop), walk across and pick up a number 12 which then stops outside the...

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of a 12 day driving trip, primarily in Andalusia. The room was comfortable but the carpeting gave it a bit of a tired feeling. Beds and bathroom were good enough, WI FI no problem for us. As elsewhere in Spain no matter how we set the temperature in the room we...

Superb hotell with exelent service. Good location. P garage. Bar and restaurant. Nice rooms. A place to be back. Toledo is a nice city with a lot of restaurants and bars with good food and drinks. Only 40 min from Madrid. The old city feelings.

The hotel of Secortel Juan de los Reyes in Toledo is located in the old town and has 35 rooms. The building was formerly a marzipan factory and has been renovated with great flair. Medieval decoration, including the two armors at the entrance, reflect the style of the city. The location of the hotel make it ideal for exploring the...

Wife and I were here for 1 night during the holiday in December. We arrived by train, and the hotel was an easy 10 minute walk from the train station. Our check in process was simple and the guy who helped us was friendly. Our room was old and tiring with a TV that’s smaller than my computer monitor at...

Located at a 100 meters from the main Synagogue and the El Greco Museum, this hotel offers a great starting point for your walks in Toledo. Since everything can be reached in a 15-20 minute radius, you can easily cover the entire city. Friendly and helpful reception. Breakfast was good according to Spanish standards, perhaps average according to international standards....

This was our second stay in this good quality hotel. Very surprised that the hotel would not allow us to pre-book car parking, that almost caused us to cancel our reservation as we expected to arrive late after a long days drive, but luckily there was a space for us. The room with a balcony was very nice, although the...

A decent standard of hotel inside the old city walls and within walking distance of all of the attractions, even in the heat of August. The rooms aren't enormous but adequate and tidy. The hotel boasts an excellent restaurant and guests receive a discount so definitely worth trying. Nothing bad to say.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This building of the hotel dates from 1889. At first, it was used as a cold steel Factory. "The San Jose Flour Factory" was created in 1918 and continued its production until July 1996. The Factory was used for the production of flour, marzipan, chocolates and sweets. Its products were among the most valued and known, not only for the use of raw material with an unbeatable quality, but also for the technical methods that guaranteed the supply and production of the different products. This building, considered a point of cultural interest, preserves its Neomudejar facade and is a magnificent representation of the 19th Century industrial architecture. Opened in May 2003, The San Juan de los Reyes Hotel is located in the emblematic Jewish quarter of Toledo, in the historic city centre next to the main monuments: San Juan de los Reyes Monastery, Santa Maria la Blanca Synagogue, Vitorio Macho Museum, El Greco Museum, Santo Tome Church, El Transito Synagogue. ... more   less
