I can't understand why this hotel is not 4 stars except maybe because there is no elevator. Rustic decor, big rooms. Wonderful breakfast. Outdoor restaurant, we were sorry we did not have dinner there but stop for a drink and it was such a pleasant atmosphere. You have to take an escalator to get to the old town, it is...

We just returned from 4 nights spent in this hotel and it is right up there as one of my favourites. The buildings, the gardens, the pool area were all beautiful. In some of the reviews I read, people complained that the rooms were a little tired, they were certainly old, but so is the building, that gives it character!...

First off, the location can't be beat if you have a car. There's a garage with reasonable rates right next door, and you don't have to do any driving on the very narrow, confusing roads of the city. This is a huge plus anywhere in Spain, as their signs for street names are not easily located while driving (most are...

Most unique hotel, it was a summer place for the Cardenal. Beautiful grounds, garden with a great restaurant. The small pool is perfect to cool off in the afternoon. Very relaxing. Decent wifi. Ask for the hotel for car park before arrival. A must stay in Toledo!

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location for sightseeing in Toledo. The rooms are simple but pleasant, the small courtyards and sitting areas lovely, and the restaurant very good, with outside seating for the evening meal in the summer, and inside seating for breakfast. The breakfast is simple, but adequate and the evening meal very good and reasonably priced. The only...

It was only by chance I decided to stay here with no help from any quarter. It was such a good choice as the hotel was very easy to find by car and has a car park for 15 euros a day. So we can forget about the car and use our feet . The hotel is instantly likeable as...

Very reasonable prices. Fabulous restaurant. At the foot of the escalators to the city. Definitely go again - very quaint! Parking right outside the hotel (public / very cheap). Dark wooden furniture and white walls in the bedrooms. Squeeze your own orange juice and then sit on the terrace.

Small hotel built over Toledo´s rampart and right next to the Alfonso VI door. I recommend it for weekdays, as on Fridays and Saturdays there are wedding events. Good breakfast with delicious coffee at the restaurant. Kind personnel at the front desk. Highly recommended.

This hotel is set into the walls of Toledo right next to the escalator up into the old city and has a beautiful garden setting restaurant and bar. The food is excellent and it is a lovely place to return to at the end of the day and relax under the shade in the fabulous garden. The hotel rooms are...

This was our first trip to beautiful Toledo, and this hotel did not disappoint! The rooms have beautiful wooden doors. You feel like you are staying in an old castle. I loved it. All of the staff was very kind and helpful. The only negatives that I can think of was that it was kind of noisy outside during the...
