The staff and owner of this hotel are obnoxious and unprofessional. What started out at check in as a disagreement over a parking charge (that had not been made clear at the time of booking) led us into a catalog of unprofessional responses to questions. Being effectively given 'the run around' over where and how to park, being asked twice...

Hotel Martin is simply but tastefully decorated. Our room, though small, was clean, airy and light--white bedspreads, white tile floors, white stucco walls and rich pine woodwork. The flat-screen tv had three English channels. There was a bathtub. The desk clerk was charming and knowledgeable and recommended a convenient restaurant for our dinner, one we would not have found without...

We really enjoyed our short stay at this hotel. We had a very warm greeting from the lady on reception who gave us lots of helpful information including a recommendation for a restaurant 'La Abbadia' which we visited twice and thoroughly enjoyed as it had a great atmosphere and served delicious food at an affordable price. (We recommend trying 'Perdiz'...

I was a bit worried after reading some reviews but booked this hotel anyway thinking it was only one night. It was good for the price, there were four of us and we got rooms 106 and 107, I believe. The rooms were a bit small, we could barely fit our luggage in, but it was clean and quaint with...

We checked in to the apartment, Rm 109, based on reviews from another site. I will start with the good points: 1. It is about a 7 minute walk up to the gates of the old, walled in portion of Toledo. Not a problem if you are in good general physical condition. 2. Public parking is easily accessible all around...

Quet room, bath provided ok. Breakfast extremely good Handy for town once you get the hang of the lay out, very confusing city. Thought this would be the "Jewel in the Crown" of our tour but not as good as expected. Maybe we were just a bit jaded by this time. We did find a great little retaurant called New...

This is just the type of hotel you need when arriving by car for a short stay: easy to reach yet close to town, friendly & competent staff, clean room, free Wifi -in our case even accessible in our room-, and reasonable cost for parking and breakfast. Will definitely return - Toledo is addictive!

We arrived by train and easily walked the 15 minute, mostly level route to the hotel. From the hotel it's another 15 minutes of gentle (for this 54 y.o.) uphill walking to the main square, Zocodover. The hotel itself is located on a quiet side street and is fine if you don't need much in the way of services. We...

If you are traveling by train, this is one of the closest hotels to the station; about a 20 minute walk across the river. The center of Toledo where Plaza Zocodover and the other sights are located is a 15-minute walk uphill. If you are a walker and you pick another hotel that is near these sights, you will be...
