I booked the Gran Hotel Sardinero, as the final stop in our rail tour of Spain.I researched the reviews, checked out the photographs and was delighted with the hotel. The building is in a commanding position overlooking both the promenade and the sea itself. The hotel is easily accessible from Santander centre, as the ferry, train and coach stations are all...

Good underground parking. Large clean rooms. Only disappointment for a large hotel. Not a great restaurant. Lots of restaurants nearby and easy walking distance. Staff helpful in reception. When checking in and have a car it is easy to pull up outside hotel.

Very nice hotel with modern rooms located near the casino and the beach. Although the hotel is not located near the center city, there are several buses and taxis nearby. And there are several restaurants nearby. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Rooms were large and clean and the bed was comfortable. Wi-Fi worked very well in both the...

Stayed as part of a Brittany Ferries deal. Hotel has nice rooms and are quiet. For a plush looking hotel, breakfast is a pretty ordinary affair, but our deal was on a b&b basis so no big deal - however would probably not bother if having to pay separately. Underground parking is good but expensive at 17 euros per night....

We picked this hotel because we were arriving in Santander having spent an overnight on the Brittany ferry from Portsmouth. It is a magnificent hotel although the location, not being in the centre of the city, might put some travellers off. Not us though, the rooms are spacious and very modern, the bathrooms palatial and the interior of the hotel...

Spent one night at this hotel. Looks brand new, indoor parking and very nice decor. Excelent location right next to the emblematic casino bulding in front of the beach. Some rooms have sea views. Very recommended

The hotel is beautiful. I would recommend to book a high floor room with the sea view. You have the sunset in the morning. It is just stunning. The location is perfect, facing the casino and on the Sardinero beach.

The hotel to stay at in Santander. Literally 5 minutes walk to a great beach. Location great and service in the hotel is superb. Try the menu del dia at the bar which is great value for money whether you're a guest or not. Bedrooms are exquisite. There are very few with a balcony yet try to secure one like...

We spent one night here on our way between the Picos de Europa and San Sebastian. The hotel is located on a great beach. We opted for the underground parking which at first may seem a bit tricky, but was quite easy. You drive around the hotel to a garage door, which is an elevator for the car. We chose...

This is a very good hotel and would recommend anyone to stay there.superb location and very friendly and attentive staff. The only reason we have not given the full 5 stars is that no tea or coffee making facilities were available in the room, even so would definately return!
