Parque Vacacional Eden is often praised for its friendly service, with the staff going out of their way to accommodate special occasions and provide shuttle services, although some visitors have noted room cleanliness could be enhanced. While the hotel's hilltop location offers a serene, picturesque environment, it can be inconvenient for those not wishing to climb or wait for a shuttle.
The hotel grounds are generally well-kept, and guests enjoy the spacious rooms with impressive views, yet there are suggestions that both the rooms and the overall hotel atmosphere could benefit from updates and a refresh in decor. Despite mixed opinions on the amenities, many guests consider the hotel to provide good value, with reasonably priced bars and diverse dining experiences.

Hotel's Favourite
A very enjoyable stay at a hotel that knows exactly what it is doing. We found all of the facilities, including the room to be of an excellent standard with everything kept in very good order throughout.
The food provided was of a very high standard, perfectly cooked and presented. The serving and dining area also kept to a very high standard both in looks and hygiene.
The staff we found to be both friendly and approachable at all times and went above and beyond to assist if any anything out of the ordinary was required. In our case we struggled to connect to the wi-fi in the room. This was sorted in quick order with a router installed in the room straight after speaking to reception.
A great hotel/park extremely well and professionally run and all at a competitive price. We would not hesitate to recommend Eden to anyone considering a stay in the town.

+1
Having already stayed here in November 2018 for a week, and raved about it, we booked again and stayed here last January 2019, and have just returned from another fortnight here in February 2020. We absolutely love this hotel. We had a warm welcome from reception on arrival, and the restaurant manager came over and greeted us, it was just like visiting friends. Our room was spotless, and all the staff from the barman to the cleaners really worked hard to make our stay really comfortable. A highlight of the last trip (January 2019) was snow on Teide, and I went onto the rooftop bar area to see it. I recommend this as a must see sight, although even without snow it is spectacular at sunrise. The gardens really are a green oasis, and having a heatwave this February meant we used the swimming pool most days. We know we will return again, and we look forward to meeting everybody again, and that includes some of the other guests who regularly come here from Germany and Austria for the whole Winter.

From the moment I arrived I was greeted in a friendly and efficient manner, and without fail every single member of staff was helpful, kind and friendly throughout the stay. This included all reception, bar and restaurant staff as well as cleaners and gardeners. It was wonderful to see this as it is rare to find every member of staff so happy!
The hotel was clean and my room was spotless and spacious with lovely views of the well kept gardens. The gardens were really interesting to walk around, with lots of unusual plants. I had half board and there was always plenty of choice for breakfast and dinner, and very reasonably priced drinks at the bar. It was never too busy and the food was replenished frequently.
The location of the great was lovely with great views, but for those who are less mobile this might be a challenge as it is at the top of a hill. I enjoyed the walks from here and even though it is not directly in town it is closer to some of the other walks and gardens in the area. There is a free shuttle bus into town for those who don't want to walk which was handy when the weather wasn't so good. Overall a really good stay!

The hotel is clean and well run. Enough pools to satisfy everyone. Buffet restaurant, although we only breakfasted there. Plenty of food. Often Luke warm. Loved the freshly made pancakes and waffles. A bit perturbed there was no instant WiFi and a deposit had to be paid for the TV remote control. Went over Christmas and there was evening entertainment nightly. Upstairs bar offers great views but unfortunately was only open one night. A hotel that is away from the beach and although it’s only a 10 minute walk downhill, the hill is awful to walk back up. Went with TUi and the buses to take you to the excursions do not pick you up from the hotel and drop you off in the dark at another hotel about a 5 minute walk away. Hard to navigate streets in the dark. Enjoyed the location and will be back to Puerto de la Cruz next year. Maybe in a hotel closer to the beach.

Dear guests, We thank you very much for your fantastic comment over our establishment, cleaning, swimming pools and breakfast. We are glad to know that you enjoyed your stay in spite of the location of our complex. We know it is a bit hard to go up from town to the establishment, this is the reason we offer a courtesy bus. We are sorry to know that you were a bit annoying about the cost for the wifi in the room and the deposit for the TV remote control. You could use wifi connection, free of charge, at the reception lobby. Best regards, PARQUE VACACIONAL EDEN Rosa M. Herrero Secretary

This hotel is lovely and set in some botanical gardens with the plants labelled, the likes of which you would usually have to pay for. It is spotlessly clean and has much potential. The rooms were very well equipped, comfortable beds, large powerful shower, kitchen, oven, fridge freezer and hob!
Unfortunately being a dated hotel it lacks soundproofing and our room 1213 was directly over the restaurant meaning in our experience we were awoken everyday at 6am for the staff preparing breakfast until 10am meaning our 'eden' was a very noisy experience. The cleaners also added to the noise. The pools were very cold this time of year despite saying they were heated. So I didn't swim the whole 10 day holiday.
We loved the lizard wall - wildlife on our doorstep. The bus was helpful to get supplies from town, entertainment was okay again the 11pm cutoff was strict and the location felt like a band playing in an office (next to reception.) The 5th floor newly opened bar also had no atmosphere (fluorescent white lights.)
The location was good, an easy reach to Puerto de la cruz 20min by foot however older guests may struggle with the hill - this was not as bad as we were lead to believe though (we're in our 40s).
Food was not labelled well in the restaurant meaning vegetarians may find meat in some dishes and where meat was mentioned the type of which remained a mystery and the restaurant lights were switched off to encourage us to leave at 10am which wasn't very welcoming. Plates removed before food was finished.
This said we did have a lovely holiday here just not the restful experience we hoped for. Puerto de la cruz is a beautiful town, be sure to check out the old town and the street art.
Asking other guests on the bus, we found that staying it the other hotel building was the peaceful option we were seeking.

This hotel was booking was intended to be for our honey moon. The hotel is run down and under construction (which we were not informed about prior to our visit or even during our stay) which resulted in breakfast been surrounded by views of construction instead of the scenery and this also meant that the facilities advertised such as tennis courts etc where actually non existent.
The hotel itself is not in great condition, most areas are run down and not clean. Are room although tidied by the staff was not clean and smelt when we arrived.
We booked a studio with a pool view, this in fact was a view of the rocks and walls at the very bottom of the pool, so all we in fact paid for was a view of a wall and drains.
There was no air conditioning in either the hotel or the room and therefore our room was in fact hotter then outdoors. Walls are extremely thin, to the point of you can hear word for word the conversations above, below or to each side of you of other guests.
When we arrived although greeted by a friendly receptionist there was insects, such as ants etc crawling all over the desk and upon entry we passed multiple cockroaches.
The location of the hotel is at the top of a very steep hill, although this did not phase a young and active couple like ourselves if you have young children or are elderly visits out of the hotel will be challenging.
If you are going to the hotel to sunbathe I would also reconsider the location of your accommodation as due to it being at the top of one of the highest parts of Pierre de la Cruz most of our stay was hot but cloudy and windy, with very little sun.
There is also a nudist pool on the top floor which is not made clear to guests, something to bare in mind (not exactly appropriate if you are with children!)
We did not arrive at the hotel until 5am Monday morning, to which the hotel had left cold meat and out of date fruit and vegetables on the side in our room, this apparently classed as our “Sunday evening meal” and therefore on our last night we had to pay for an extra nights dinner. We also were unable to have anywhere to shower or stay despite our flight been at 1:20am Monday morning but hotel check out was lunch time on the Sunday.
With TLC, a big refurbishment, cleaning and much more efficiency this hotel does have the potential to be good as the gardens and some views are lovely. The staff are very friendly and although they will help where possible this did not compensate for our poor experience. I would not recommend this hotel.

Dear guest: We thank you for taking a few moments of your time to write a review about our establishment and services. We regret that we did not meet your expectations. The facilities are almost completely renovated (accommodation units, hall, swimming pool, etc.). Although the buildings have their age, we are constantly improving them. It is true that our rooms do not have air-conditioning, but fans are available on request at reception. However, air-conditioning is not normally necessary, as the maximum daytime temperature in the summer is usually no more than 28ºC. It is possible that you were unlucky and had a few days of heat wave that we had. Although "The location of the hotel is at the top of a very steep hill", we have a free shuttle bus service for guests to and from the centre. We also take note of your constructive criticism and we will continue to work to give our best and best customer service. Yours sincerely, Parque Vacacional Eden.

We are currently staying here for 2 days, & its like a bad dream. We spent top Money for all inclusive here with a 4.5 yrs old. Most of da info in this hotel's profile does not meet da reality test. Nice Pictures of swimming pools, are not from this joint. Food is same everyday & poor quality, most food tastes like rubber . They tell ya they got 5 pools, but 1 is really usable, unless you & your 4 yrs old dont mind nudity, there is nudist pool here + unheated pool, really useful in February. Da hotel is run down & stuff seem to not care..is your stay here a good 1 ? Are you happy to be staying with us ? The answer is simple. NO WE ARE NOT. We arrived here after lunch, all inclusive buffet had no food. We ordered burger, fries, club sandwich as there was no other options for Kids. Da food we got was not eatable. I wouldnt give this to a dog. Burger patties would make Mac Donalda look like 5 star place. The place is spread out, so if you are In secondary building you cant get an evening drink for an adult or a child without going for a solid 10 min hike, there are 3 bars. Da one thats serves all meals, closes after supper, today they had a problem to give my daughter a juice cos i need to be going 500m to another building, while their kitchen is still open. Thats how you look after your customers who spent 10k for 1 week of all inclusive. If you are parent do not come here with a kid. Playground in hotel book is take, there isnt one. In theory there should be 2 bars open to serve patrons till 11pm, tonight 1 bar was simply closed. There is no notice or info anywhere to find out nie you can utilize you well spent Money anywhere. More to it, on arrival we were misinformed we can use da bar in our building for all inclusive. To sumarise, this is DA WORST ALL INCLUSIVE we have had experienced, pity we have read all positive reviews, and we were confident this will be Money well spent. Lesson learnt.

Dear guests, Thank you for taking your time to write a review over our establishment. We regret that you did not like our complex nor our services. We wish to clarify some points about the following circumstances you are commenting about: • We have 4 (not 5) swimming pools: the largest one, slightly heated, and other one for small children, at the Eden Luz building; one on the 5th floor and the last one, nudist, on the 10th floor at the Eden Esplanade (main building). • We can understand that you did not like the food. It is question of tastes. A lot of our clients enjoy our meals, especially breakfast. • The way from one building to the other one could be approximately of 100 m, but not 500 m as you wrote. • We do have a small children’s playground in the garden. Please, ask where it is. • Normally, it is only one bar open at the same time. We have taken notice of the lack of the information concerning the all-inclusive services and times and we will try to improve it. Regards, PARQUE VACACIONAL EDEN Rosa M. Herrero Secretary

This hotel so deserves to be more than it's 3* rating.
Rooms are basic but well supplied. Spotlessly clean and cleaned every day except Sunday.
Nice little touches made up welcome, a nice complimentary bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival which was actually a rather nice house red. Individual soaps, shampoo, and toiletries supplied which saves you bringing any along or dashing out to buy them on day one.
Check-in was so simple with several languages spoken. Credit card type door key for each room was simple yo use and carry around.
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful in every area
Food was very good, with something for everyone. Even the fussiest of eaters would find something to enjoy at their buffet style dining room, plus the chance to try something new for the more adventurous.
With 3 pools there is plenty of chance to relax and enjoy the sun, with lots of space to enjoy a swim to cool off
Courtesy bus to town centre and seafront, about 1.4km away, runs several times a day except weekends. Taxi to town centre is about €4.
It was my birthday while I was there and I was presented with a card and bottle of bubbly with compliments of the hotel, must have got the info from my passport. This I thought was a really nice gesture by the management.
The hotel grounds are magnificent with beautiful gardens, excersize equipment, mini golf and lots of seating just to enjoy the peace and quiet.
The steep path to and from the dining room is a bit of a challenge for those of us who have limited mobility, but it is a hilly region.
All in all, I can't find anything bad to say about the eden parque vacional hotel.
Exceptionally good for a 3* rated hotel.

Whilst I hate giving a somewhat negative review I feel that I should in order to help others make an informed decision before booking this hotel not least because it is listed with TUI.
The hotel as others have stated is dated but to be fair the lifts worked & the room was clean & spacious.
Our room was located in the building that housed the restaurant & the only pool that was open at the time. However, this pool is totally under cover. The other pool whilst taped off (closed) , had people sunbathing around it but did not have a pool bar which should be noted in particular if you are AI. (A good 10 minute walk over to the other bar area) Should you have mobility issues & are accommodated in the building where the main reception is you may struggle to walk over to the restaurant.
We were staying on an AI basis. The breakfast was fine but otherwise the food was not to our taste & some days we needed to venture out in the evening to find something alternative to eat.
The hotel is located on a very steep hill, so you may be thankful for the shuttle bus that ran 5.5 days per week during the daytime both ways to the seafront & back. Taxis to be fair are very cheap & the walk down is manageable it’s the walk up that’s more problematic! Clearly many guests hired cars which should you be happy to drive would be a good option. Lots of areas to park.
The bar set up was ‘different’ with there being no defined bar & seating area over where we were staying. Drinks can be accessed from a very small bar within the restaurant area. Some evenings a more conventional bar was open in the other building, but it’s opening hours were not promoted unless they had entertainment on. A few friendly singers who tried their best to create an atmosphere, which was generally lacking in this hotel.
All in all if you want to hire a car & stay B&B using the hotel as a base then this hotel may be for you.
For us we will remember this hotel for its well maintained beautiful gardens & Mike the barman - both assets for the hotel.

What fantastic hotel! The 1 Bed Apartment thst we had on the 6th floor hsd fabulous views looking towards to sea and the mountains. The balcony was huge as were the rooms and there was enough storage for all of our clothes and luggage. The kitchen was well equipped, albeit we only had lunch 3 times in the room! Noise from adjacent rooms wasn't really a problem either.
The hotel is spread over two buildings but the gardens and grounds were beautiful and you could find a quiet spot if you wanted to. The main pool was fabulous, never thst busy and the nearby table tennis table was great. Only disappointment was the nudist pool on the roof whi h you could only use if you were prepared to sunbath nude! Not that smart given skin cancer risks and the concept is pretty dated! Just make this an adults only area and get into the 21st century!
We were on half board and juan and the restaurant staff were great. Breakfast was particularly good with a great choice so no complaints. Dinner was a bit more hit and miss, some good nights but also some average ones where some of the food was cold especially on BBQ nights when food tended to be cooked all at once then left for ages ! Also vegetarians weren't well catered for as many dishes that would have been suitable had bits off ham or chorizo added! Which was a bit strange. However we loved the flexibility where you could actually dine til 10pm even though mealtime was supposedly 6.30 til 8.30!
Other highlights - the large wall on the walkway between the hotels contained dozens of lizards and you could spend ages watching them or feeding them bananas!
Previous reviews often complained about the location with the hotel set above the resort at around 85 m altitude. While it was a fairly steep drop down it only took 15 mins to walk down albeit 25 mins back which might be a problem if you are unfit or have mobility issues albeit we loved it and besides there was a regular courtesy bus which operated regularly !
Other things to note! Beach towels freely available for a deposit and cleaned whenever you wanted. Happy hour drinks were half price and very good! Also within 10 mins were bus stops which accessed a number of Titsa Servces which were well priced!
All in all a superbly run and managed hotel with very helpful and courteous staff! Would definitely recommend!
