A late booking, we normally go to the Spanish mainland or Italy at this time of year but I located a bargain in Tenerife and went for it and yay the weather was better. Our flight was delayed so we didn't arrive at the hotel until after midnight but they had a quick supper waiting for us, which was not...

The staff at this hotel really go that extra mile to try and ensure you enjoy your stay. If you just want to relax, then you really can. I opted to have a walk outside of the hotel after every meal to exercise it off. The Hotel Gym is very small and I never saw anyone actually use it. The...

We live in Los Gigantes and go to this hotel usually for long weekends .It is nice for a change to get away from home. We chose this hotel for its home comforts as we are all retired. The rooms are very comfortable and the rerstaurant is very good for dinner and particularly breakfasts, I would thoroughly recommend this hotel...

We have visited the Hotel Sol Puerto de la Cruz forty times over the last 20 years and have experienced the change over from the Melia Classification to the Sol Classification. Over the last 5 years the Hotel has been having a complete upgrade of the facilities. We have witnessed all bathrooms being replaced, two swimming pools being replaced and...

We spent a week in this hotel and found it be excellent with absolutely no criticism or complaints. We would definitly stay here again and would wholeheartedly recommend to friends. We were concerned about the 150 steps, however they are 'nice gentle steps' with bars and rest places along the way. So please if you are considering this hotel do...

We had 14 wonderful days at this Hotel. All of the Staff made us very welcome, nothing was too much for them. The food was good and varied. The bedrooms were cleaned every day, changing the towels daily. No need to take pool towels as you can hire them for 12euros per towel for your stay. (Get your money back...

I booked this holiday as a treat to myself after a long stressful time. I am aware of the standard of the Sol hotels so when I read the bad reviews, I wasn't too put off as generally I am not fussy and haven't been disappointed before. The hotel itself is fine, nice lobby, nice couches when you come outside...
