Just got back from this fabulous hotel. First of all it is in the best location to have a relaxing beach break but close to the city also. The hotel reception is huge and luxurious with massive fresh display of flowers, comfortable chairs and at breakfast coffee tea and cava is available in this area. On arrival the reception staff...

I travelled here with my partner and our three children aged 11 15 and 16 years old. We had a package with Jet 2 holidays, which did not include transfers but we used a company called canary forum who were great. It took 25 minutes from the airport. The staff here were all very friendly and welcoming from reception to...

This is a very good 4 star hotel, in a 5 star ,location. I agree totally with all the praise heaped on it. Any criticism in previous reports would seem to me to be mere niggles. The hotel is run efficiently and has excellent facilities.

There is a certain feeling that most of the money ran out after the entrance hall, restaurants and spa/pool had been built. "Oh merda, the rooms!", someone cried. "No money". But they are ok. Not big, crazily shaped Spanish pillows (long, very thin), no tea/coffee facilities, no kettle, safe not free (a stupidity if you ask me) and usually a...

Great city & marvellous Hotel - can't wait to return. Highly recommended. Staff, food and ambience were all excellent. Listed as a four star hotel but feels like five stars. Location is great right on the beach but on the doorsteps of the city as well.

I have been to this hotel twice, first time my room overlooked the front of the hotel and the car park, the second time we payed over £200 extra for the sea view room. so here are the pros and cons.

Sea View is stunning but remember this is the Atlantic ocean and Las Canteras beach is a world surfing beach with large waves which can be very noisy. I loved this and slept with the window open listening to the sea, probably not to everybody's liking. However these rooms also face north so they get very little sun until late afternoon, probably later in November, so it may not be warm enough to sit out. We have just returned from here. 4/10/2017

Town view room face south so get more sunshine but the view is of the car park and the city. This did not bother me at all. We were there in December 2016 so the evenings were cool and it was not possible to sit out.

Both room lay outs were exactly the same.

Now here is an idea for you. The pool on the roof has a stunning outlook and a lovely bar that serves delicious lunches. You can get a lovely salad for 12 Euros and a bottle of good quality house wine for 8 Euros, making 32 Euros for 2 people, probably the same as the up grade. The waiter service is superb in this little bar; Moises and Ruben make you feel very special. It is like a conservatory so there is no cooling breeze as is so often a problem here, but you can enjoy the sea view.

We are returning in December and we will chose the town view. If we return at a warmer time of the year our decision will be more difficult.

Hope this helps and if there is anything else you are unsure about just ask. I am sure you will have a great holiday.

Saludos cordiales,

M.Carmen Cabrera
