This is a little guest house in old town. I drove down from France. They gave a deal with car park over the road, so if your with a car you need to add 20 euros a night.. it's a small guest house with a funky old lift,, if you need it..It is the perfect location.Walk out of your door...

Husband and I were here in June 2013 for our honeymoon. San Sebastián itself is magical. This pension is in the perfect location. Our room was massive, bright, clean, and well appointed. We would definitely stay here again!

Pension Alameda is in a perfect location on the edge of the old town, central to everything and spotlessly clean. I had a large room and very comfortable bed, perfect except for the noise from the bars below which goes into the early hours. My room was at the back of the hostel with a small balcony - with the...

The pension was easy enough to find and situated right on the edge of the old town. It is on the 2nd floor of building facing the main bandstand. The first impression is of a place that is homely and well cared for. Our room (9) was at the back, not overlarge but adequate and beautifully clean. We were there...

This is a perfectly located pension right on the boulevard with everything within walking distance. The owner was from Portugal and she was delightful - very friendly and helpful. The rooms are big and clean as is the bathroom. Our room faced the sea and the boulevard and some might think it would be noisy but the windows are double...

We loved our stay at Pension Alameda! Theresa and her husband provided a very warm welcome when we arrived, as well as a detailed map and pointed out a few key spots. I had some lovely conversations with Theresa during our stay and she continued to provide recommendations for places to eat and see. She also strives to learn different...

Located within walking distance from every amenity in the city centre. Spacious room. Economic 5 day stay. Extremely noisy. Windows don't isolate the noise coming from the very busy bar/pitxos street which are open until 5am. Our room was located less than 1meter away from owners kitchen and room, who were extremely active since 7:30am (paper thin walls). Aggressive response...

This is a great Pension, right in the heart of the old town of San Sebastian. We stayed for 3 nights and couldn't have asked for more given the price vs location conundrum. We asked in advance for a quiet room, I'd rather have that than a view, given that we were out all day seeing things and on the...

We had a lovely room. Spotlessly clean in an excellent location with air-conditioning for most of the night. Despite being in the centre of the old part, there was no noise (except from the pulley-actioned washing line outside the window- a drop of oil mightn't go astray!). The old-fashioned lift is something to see in itself. The owner, whilst speaking...
