We stayed in the suite which overlooked the street, such a lovely place to sit and watch the people go by. Such a great location for being close to everything. Staff were very friendly and the set up of rooms and the other tea and coffee area was great. Would highly recommend. Security is good and you feel very safe walking...

Pension Aldamar is the perfect place to enjoy beautiful San Sebastian. Location near the old town is hard to beat and the rooms are lovely and modern set in a beautiful old building. You just buzz the front door and staff let you in. Very secure and easy to access and wi-fi worked perfectly. A must place to stay with...

My friend and I enjoyed our stay at Pension Aldamar. The staff were friendly, the security good and a common area for tea and coffee making was a great addition. The rooms were comfortable and included a desk which is always a plus. At first the lack of an in house breakfast room bothered us they have a 4.40 euro...

The location is excellent for San Sebastian. It's close to almost everything without being too loud at night. The hotel is small and the bed and amenities are not great, but this isn't the place you relax, it's a place to leave your stuff so you get to enjoy a wonderful city. It was clean and the staff were friendly...

This hotel is clean, and conviently located. Unfortunately the walls are very thin so you can hear people in their rooms and in the hallways. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Besides this it was a great stay.

This boutique pension is perched on the edge of the old city, directly across from the Mercado de la Bretxa. Enter on the ground floor and take stairs or elevator to the next level up, where most of the rooms are located. Our room was of moderate size and comfortable, and it featured a balcony with windows that could be...

Pension Aldamar is in a fantastic location, but that is about where it ended for us. Our room was very small and next to the main entrance so heard all the night foot traffic come through. The room wasn't cheap so we were quite disappointed. Feel that when booked through Booking.com or Expedia you tend to get the lesser rooms....

Nice clean rooms, small balcony area overlooking street and a safe and fridge were welcome additions. Very central location and easy walking distance to all of the towns great pintxos bars. Well priced and good value for a 3 night stay.

We were really happy with our stay at Pension Aldamar. A little apprehensive when we were dropped off at a residential property but we didn't worry too much after seeing the signs of the property on the balconies above. After pushing the buzzer and being let into the property, it was a smooth check in process from there. The rooms...

Our room faced a back alley, and the windows didn't open. We thought it was clean, until finding a pill on the floor and water bottle under the bed from previous guest. Be careful of the small step into the hallway with the rooms; I stubbed my toe so bad on the short stair/lip that my big toenail broke off!...
