This hotel is very handy for sightseeing. Although not in the town centre, everything is easily available. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the receptionist goes out of her way to make you comfortable. Fantastic all round.

We spent one night here in August 2016 on our way from Spain to France. The manager was really friendly and attentive when we arrived and kept apologising for the high price of the room. She explained that the price was high because it was fiesta and all the hotels in the area were full. As a compromise, she said...

Cosy place , with a superb Host. they are very kind here but if you want to rest you can't because you hear easily noise from other rooms ( even if your neighbours are not noisy). Besides that the place is nice, they gift us a small but very good breakfast. Very convenient free parking

As we where on a trip by car, it would be very difficult or expensive to drive into Donostia - on weekends forget to find a parking lot. So it's easier to have a homebase outside town and travel by local bus. Hotel Donosti is charming and safe, offers free parking and free WiFi. The rooms are big, the beds...

We had a room booked at the hotel Leku Eder for 3 nights, but arrived in San Sebastian to find a very loud music festival well within earshot which would have ruined any attempt at a good night's sleep, so we scrambled around to find an alternative that would allow us to stay in the city for a couple of...

We spent 2 nights in this cosy hotel/b&b which is located on the hills over San Sebastian. The building used to be a casa del pastor and it was refurnished by a basque family. From the first beginning of our stay we felt like at home. We had a very warm welcome at our arrival; the staff was always happy...

Pros: Free parking, free internet (although a bit slow connection). Relatively quiet if you sleep with the windows closed, which due to the temperature was no problem during our stay in the hotel. Friendly staff. Cons: Too expensive for what you get (189 € / night in double room in August) – even considering that the hotels in San Sebastian...

One star hotel? B&B is more correct. We unfortunately got the room by the stairs and next to the breakfast room. VERY noisy! Also a lot of traffic noice. We stayed 3 nights and had to buy ear-plugs to survive....but that worked fine:-) Staff was very friendly, but the place needs a lot of TCL to justify the price they...

We booked Hotel Donosti due to the availability of parking, which is difficult to find in San Sebastian. The first thing we noticed as we pulled down was how run down the place looked. Hoping it would be better inside, we proceeded to the front door with our bags. As soon as the door opened the smell of damp and...

Hotel Donosti is more like a B&B than a hotel, and we found it a bit difficult to locate as it is in the middle of a residential area. The young man we met on arrival was, to say the least, flaky unlike the other staff we met. The room was very comfortable, decorated with care with a super modern...

“We had the room right next to the front door so it was a bit noisy about 2am when some young people came in from town. Other than that it was a quiet room on a quiet road.”

“Our room was downstairs so was a little noisy with people up and down the stairs. Next time we will choose an upstairs room. The view was lovely though and it was near the small Bar which served good wine as very reasonable rates! The Hotel is small and very individual. We can highly recommend it”
