Polite and helpful staff, clean rooms and bathrooms, good breakfast. I've stayed for a couple of nights. When I asked the girls at the reception if I could extend my stay (did that 2 times) they were really nice and helpful and in the end it wasn't a problem. They have a great community room where you can hang out...

Large dorms of 12 people. Rooms were clean. Comfortable lounge area. Very good location very close to the Termibus bus station, which was very handy for the bus to the airport and also to catch a bus to San Sebastian. Staff were friendly. Breakfast is quite basic but adequate. For the money I think it represented quite good value and...

Pil Pil hostel was average, the location is close to the bus station and metro and there's a supermarket nearby. I was a little disappointed that the hostel didn't have any activities to encourage other travelers to get to know each other nor did it offer any walking tours. The bathrooms and bedrooms were clean though, overall a basic hostel

I flew late into Bilbao on my way to Sans Sebastian. I literally had to find a bed for 6 hours before I left on an early morning bus. The hostel is very close to the bus terminal ( max 5 mins walk) - which is the location you arrive from the airport and set off from to Sans Sebastian....

Pros: Friendly Staff, Cheap, Clean. They will hold on to your luggage, but it's out in the open to everyone in the hostel. Cons: The noise rules were not enforced on the private room side of the hostel. The wifi was extremely weak from our room. The shower I was using was plugged and was not draining properly... :-(

Helpful and friendly staff. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious for two people (twin room). Location is pretty good in central Bilbao, near to bus station and close to tram and metro stations for easy access to the rest of Bilbao. Visit to the Guggenheim is worthwhile.

A great location and very friendly staff. I was surprised by the main entrance door being open most of the time - anyone can walk in, and into the rooms as these were mainly unlocked as well. However, nothing happened. I also enjoyed the garden, and browsing around the little library shelf. Despite there being many people in a room,...

The hostel was clean and bright. I had a room of 12 girls which in addition to the very shaky bunks and thin mattresses made it difficult to sleep but that´s hostel life! Breakfast is meagre but is included so can´t complain. One staff member was so sweet and friendly, offering suggestions on what to see. The other two were...

We stayed there for 3 nights, in a double room (3 beds) and shared bathroom. The place was nice and clean, the staff was very friendly, and recommended very good restaurants and places to explore. It's in the city centre, in walking distance from everything, including the bus station (where you can take a bus to the airport) I'd definitely...
