The hotel is located in the heart of Gijon, very close to a parking garage - which makes it very convenient because parking is very limited in the city. They gave us a ticket to subsidize the price of the parking which we thought was a nice touch. We needed a hotel for three people - which is not very... More

Nice enough. No restaurant which proved a bit of a pain as most restaurants are towards the seafront and port area which whilst not far away was tricky to get back to hotel in the dark.! It gets dark earlier than the rest of Spain and gets light later!. The price probably reflects what this hotel offers. Breakfast was pretty... More

We could not believe the amazing room we got and the price. We had two bedrooms, two bathrooms and were in the centre of Gijon. They also subsidised the parking from 20 euros to 10. Would definitely go back.

The hotel is very old and in desperate need of a remodel. And the staff act like you are bothering them if you ask for anything, which they inevitably tell you that you can't have anyway. If you are staying a day and need to be downtown, then this hotel could work. But be prepared for sullen and unhelpful staff.

The Hotel is centrally located and is within easy walking distance from the bus station. The room was a good size, with a balcony, but the decor was rather tired. There was a big bathroom, but with a few cracked tiles around the shower. The buffet breakfast was good with plenty of choice and friendly, helpful staff.Beware of the noisy air conditioning!

Traditional Spanish hotel in the centre of Gijon. Handy for all amenities and secure car parking at nearby underground garage (Jovellanos?) for a discounted 10 euros a night (usually 18 euros) when hotel staff give you a pass. All staff were professional, friendly and courteous. Room on 10th floor had excellent air con and a great view from the window... More

Spent 12 nights in this hotel as we were in Gijon for the European Baseball championships. Hotel is centrally located with easy walking routes to bars restaurants and cafes. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Only bad thing was lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Highly recommend it

On arriving we had a very warm welcome. We had read some reviews that this was a slightly old fashioned hotel. Well, maybe I am old fashioned but we our loved our room. It was not one of the most expensive rooms which was on the tenth floor. We had a lobby and enjoyed the view over the city from... More

This is a nice classical hotel with honest pricing . Placed in the middle of everything, it has ample rooms with maybe old decoration and finishing but confortable. Excellent service. Very few minutes walking to the beautiful beach and the old city full of nice places for diner.
