A great hotel which as others have mentioned is central to the old town and near all the sights. We didn't have breakfast in our package so can't comment on that but it was fun to grab food whilst exploring. It might be worth getting to the market which is the next street along as it looked as is they... More

Visited Zaragosa on a visit to Spain ...basically chose it for the location between San Sebastian and Madrid.. but what a revelation. Hotel was chosen for its location and it did not disappoint, round the corner from the main atttractions, the Roman ruins,Basilica etc. Hotel was on a little square with a wee church, fountain and benches where you could... We stayed at the Zaragoza Plaza for 3 nights and although it has a really good point (LOCATION) it also has some real drawbacks: 1. Staff is not friendly, and sometimes even rude. We forgot to give them the booking vouchers when we arrived and the next day we found that our card key was not working. They did that... More

Stayed for three nights during a tour of Spain and found the place and hotel enchanting. The hotel was selected mainly due to the write ups on this site and my wife and I could not have been happier. The rooms are beautifully put together with dark wood furnishings and extremely comfortable beds plus a beautifully appointed bathroom. The staff... More

Agree with the reviews below, but a couple of minuses should be mentioned: Its pretty difficult to arrive to the hotel by car (we drove around in town center for almost an hour before finding the right way to the hotel) and they do not have any valet parking - a P-house some blocks away must be used. Secondly, the... More

Have just come back from a weekend in Zaragoza. The hotel was wonderful. Very well designed, very friendly staff, spacious room, the list goes on. And finally, the buffet breakfast was pretty amazing too!

The hotel is wonderful and is in easy walking distance of everything. We had room 407 which had a nice view of the square. Would recommend Montal for dinner it was the best value on our trip and a great atmosphere. For lunch Casa Portoles in Plaza Santa Cruz was fantastic. Would also recommend that you book a walking tour... More

Excellent hotel. Right in the centre - easy walk to all the main tourist sights - but away from noisy traffic. A lovely little square outside to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. Nice big rooms, clean and well-equipped, and at such reasonable prices. The building itself is very interesting architecturally. Good breakfast included in the price. Would definitely stay there... We spent 2 nights in the Catalonia Zaragoza Plaza and were very happy with our stay. The hotel is located near the beautiful square on which the Basilica and other major buildings stand, as well as close to the main shopping streets. It is located on a nice little square itself. The building has been refitted recently by the look... More

The Catalonia Zaragoza Plaza Hotel is an amazing place to stay! I visited Zaragoza in September 2004. The Catalonia Plaza is clean, bright and comfortable. The room I stayed in was huge - it even had 2 bay windows which provided lots of light and overlooked a church square. Only a 5 minute walk to the Basilica, Cathedral, Roman wall,... More
