We spent 3 days and extended our stay given how central and cosy this place is. A few suggestions: A) as the hotel is situated within the nooks and cranny of old town, we took a cab from airport that dropped us on a road just adjacent to the walking lane the hotel is situation- euro 22 for cab compared... Hotel was an excellent choice for us. The location was IDEAL and the rooms very comfortable. There is a jacuzzi tub on the rooftop with a view of the cathedral spire. The staff were outstanding and repeatedly went above and beyond to be helpful.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a night and it was great. We arrived at 10am (way before the 3pm check-in time) but it worked out because the concierge gave us the introduction to the place (and coupons for free wine glasses at the eldest bar in Seville. The concierge allowed us to store our luggage until it was... More

Located in Santa Cruz nearby the Cathedral and Alcazar. It is somewhat difficult to find as it is located down an alleyway so make sure you have a map! Hotel is very nice. We stayed in a suite (room 18) which was beautiful and very spacious. Nice little touches like a kettle and tea bags :-) were greatly appreciated. Breakfast... More

The hotel is situated among the narrow streets in the old city just a few minutes walk to the Alcazar and Cathedral. The staff were very welcoming and attentive and although the rooms we had were on the small side they were very well equipped with kettle, hairdryer and toiletries and totally fine for two night stay and very good... We enjoyed staying in this well-run hotel conveniently located in the Santa Cruz district. The staff are excellent, the breakfasts offer decent value at EUR 9 per person and there is a lovely hot-tub on the roof where you can sit admiring the sunset behind the Giralda (take swimming trunks!). The availability of afternoon tea in the attractive inner courtyard... More

We had a great experience overall at El Rey Moro, stayed for one night I'll start with the biggest downside, which is that the rooms are on the smaller side. I think some of the photos here on TA reveal this, but worth mentioning again. Otherwise, it is a good value: very centrally located but still quiet, very warm/gracious hospitality,... More

Not sure I can say anything different to what others have already said! Great location, great hotel, lots of extras and fab staff! We had room 15 which overlooks the courtyard, lovely and quiet. Rooftop terrace was with a visit to see another view of Seville. Would definitely return to this hotel.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Situated in a delightful area of Seville, in the picturesque and authentic Barrio de Santa Cruz, the hotel is an attractive, converted manor house dating back to the 16th century. The Barrio de Santa Cruz is a charming area of the city with narrow, cobbled streets dotted with orange tree-lines plazas and centrally located within walking distance of many of the major attractions, such as the cathedral and the Alcazar. The hotel has a pleasing traditional patio-courtyard, onto which many of the rooms look out and where you can sit out and enjoy the peaceful ambience. There is also a popular restaurant that serves traditional Andalusian and Mediterranean cuisine. ... more   less
