The Meliá Lebreros hotel garners praise for its spacious and modern rooms, although noise and temperature control occasionally mar the experience. While the 'Level' rooms are considered a worthy upgrade by some, others feel the pricing does not always reflect quality. Guests commend the service for its professionalism and warmth, despite a few noting inconsistencies.
The hotel's amenities, including the pool and gym, are often highlighted positively, as is the overall cleanliness of the premises. Situated conveniently for public transport and shopping, the hotel's location is a hit among many guests, despite some complaints about noise levels.

This is our second visit this year. We came in early July when it was pushing 40 degrees everyday and this visit at end of August / early September is more manageable at mid 30s. We were attracted by the pool area, bar and food eating area to just relax whilst being a short walk (20 mins) into the old town. Pool does not open until 11.00am so it stops people putting down towels and leaving for most of the day... this worked really well and should be adopted by more hotels. The level option is worth the extra money with rooms on the higher floors and perfectly equipped, quiet and comfortable for a short break. The level lounge was an oasis to retreat to find Pilar and the team on hand with a smile and conversation to complement the bar, food and air conditioned space. We would several times everyday for a drink and take a break from the sunshine at the pool. We used the main restaurant for breakfast and enjoyed a table on the outside terrace. Well located to walk from airport bus in 5 minutes by Santa Justa station where you can get trains to most cities. Tip - book trains in advance as Cadiz was virtually sold out everyday on most trains. Wide choice of restaurants nearby to sort every choice of cuisine. Every one has a unique experience in every hotel and our two visits have been simply perfect.

Dear guest, Thank you very much for this positive review. We're delighted to hear that our pool area and bar provided the perfect setting for your relaxation, and that our strategic location enabled you to explore Seville with ease. It's also wonderful to know that The Level enhanced your stay with its array of exclusive services and tranquil ambiance. We're glad our breakfast offerings and outdoor terrace dining left a positive impression, and that our proximity to Santa Justa station added convenience to your travels. We appreciate your kind words about our team, who take pride in delivering service culture with a smile, and we're pleased that our efforts to maintain a towel-free pool before opening hours met with your approval. We look forward to welcoming you back on future occasions. Best wishes, Martina Piovesan, Voice of Customer Coordinator

We love the hotel. The location was ideal for our plans. The receptionist at the level was kind enough to upgrade us on arrival… we had a massive room and were very comfortable. The food was so so but overall it’s a great hotel. The one thing I didn’t understand was that the hotel wouldn’t call for a cab inspite of the taxi circulation being low. (Wouldn’t even call for one for the airport)

Super friendly staff, nice and clean rooms, comfortable beds. Location about 20 minutes walk from the city center. Breakfast buffet is worth booking with huge selection available. Nice outside pool. Even the parking garage is great by Spanish standards.
Only negative point: The air conditioners in the rooms are only capable of heating... sleeping with the window open is again hardly possible with the street noise. My tip: book a room on the higher floors, because the street noise decreases a bit.

Pleasant because not being sophisticated has a reasonable location 2 km from the historic center the rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast contrary to some reviews that I read is quite varied with fresh fruit. I note the sympathy of the employees as well. For a weekend of 2 or 3 days I recommend.

I really like the hotel, its location, the pool, the service of The Level... all well, but my experience has been affected by you replacing the traditional online check-in with the 'digital check-in' that greatly worsens the perceived quality of service and the variety of upgrade - that in the end I have to manage everything when I arrive at the hotel. Other chains, such as Hilton, offer the digital check-in service but show a map of all available rooms to choose the one you want, 48h before. With Meliá’s traditional online check-in, which has gone from 72h to 48h, the system offers me several free upgrade options, in addition to the paid ones, and I can choose on calm what I want to do. With digital check-in directly I am assigned one without choice, besides not being able to access the list of my regular companions, and having to put all the data again, a disaster. The new system provides no value and greatly worsens the customer experience.
The Level area very very good and spectacular pool, breakfast of the best.
Finally, I wanted to thank Andrea from The Level for her great attention and excellent service, she is an exemplary professional, friendly efficient and makes us feel at home. My sincerest congratulations

Please be informed this hotel does not allow you to control the temperature in your own room that YOU have paid for. Their system controls the entire hotel. In summer AC, in winter HEAT. Seville (southern part of Spain) is a lot warmer than the north part of Spain. Hence you should be able to control the temperature to be comfortable. They offered me a fan (very noisy by the way) and olen the windows which makes it difficult to sleep with the street noise. This is a real embarrassment for a chain like Melia. Last time i stay at a Melia property

This was my first stay at a Meliá hotel and I will definitely consider staying at one again in future. We paid extra for a ‘level’ room and it was 100% worth the extra cost. The room was very spacious and comfortable, and had everything we needed. The staff were very accommodating, allowing us to check in early and check out late. There were many options available at the breakfast buffet and we enjoyed sitting in the outdoor area where the roof folds back. The pool was also welcomed in the heat with many loungers available in the sun or shade. The best part was the level lounge which we used every day. It was well stocked and just nice to have a drink and some snacks before having a late dinner in the town centre. All in all, a lovely stay.

Dear Nina, Thank you for such a positive review. We're thrilled to hear that the spaciousness and comfort of The Level room contributed to a memorable room experience for you. It's fantastic to know that our team's service culture shone through, accommodating your early check-in and late check-out requests with ease. Your enjoyment of the gastronomic experiences at our breakfast buffet, as well as the refreshing outdoor pool, fills us with pride. The Level Lounge is indeed a special place for our guests, and we're glad it became a cherished part of your daily routine during your visit. We have taken note of your feedback and would like to assure future guests that our hotel is committed to providing a serene and restful atmosphere, despite the occasional noise which can arise in a vibrant urban setting. Our central location does come with the energy of the city, but we strive to mitigate any inconvenience with our soundproofed rooms and additional amenities for a peaceful night's sleep. It would be a pleasure to welcome you back. Best wishes, Martina Piovesan, Voice of Customer Coordinator

We stayed at the Lebreros as part of my birthday mini tour of Spain in September ‘24 and weren’t disappointed one bit. As it was a special trip (I was celebrated my seventieth birthday during it) we booked the ‘Level’ and on arrival at the reception desk were escorted through to the private reception within the Level itself. Having been seated and offered a complimentary glass of Cava, we were offered an upgrade of our room for an additional €37 per night which we accepted and what a decision that was: the room was vast! (See attached photos) Having travelled from Madrid that day we were a little tired and having freshened up we went down to the Level to enjoy a drink in the outdoor lounge and having enjoyed a few snacks (breakfast and all drinks and snacks are included in the deal) we retired for the night). The following morning I enjoyed a breakfast of cereal, fruit juice, Eggs Benedict (which were perfect) and then coffee on the terrace. Although the hotel is outside the city centre, we discovered that a taxi was less than ten euros, which we thought was quite reasonable. Although we were there for three nights we barely scratched the surface of things to see in Saville and will definitely be back, and definitely to this hotel and its other level of service.

After a long day of travelling, my wife and I arrived at the Melia Lebreros via a taxi costing Euros 35, after booking in we went straight to our room to rest. In the morning, the breakfast was amazing, it had hot and cold foods with plenty of choice. The staff were attentive. The room was basic for FOUR stars, it had a safe, a fridge, TV, but no tea coffee facility, and no water. The hotel is situated outside the main center but the area has plenty of bars and restaurants. To get to the center there is a tram that runs on the main road about ten minutes’ walk, it costs Euro 1.40 for each person. On one of the days, it was raining heavily so we ate at the hotel, the food was bearable but expensive, it was not served properly and I had to wait a lot longer until I questioned about my order. No impressed with the restaurant service. The reception staff were helpful in guiding us on what to see in the city. There is a lot to see…...may be another time. On way back, we got the EA bus to the airport from the railway station nearby costing Euro 5 per person, it was particularly good and quick service.

I stayed in a lovely boutique hotel in Sevilla before I changed to the Melia. The difference here in service, feel and room felt like a big step down. Both hotels had a similar price point but I found the room very basic, clean but basic. No coffee or tea making facilities in the room and when I called down to room service they didn’t offer hot drinks which I found a bit odd. I also asked if my boyfriend (Sevilla resident) could sit by the pool with me for an hour and was charged 15 euros for him to do that. For a large chain I would expect maybe they could have been gracious enough to give me permission, would have been better off not asking and just walking him in. Every time I ate in the restaurant next to the pool I had to wait at least 10 minutes for service or had to go and ask bar staff for service. A lady called Belen behind the bar was always pleasant as was the lady dealing with the towels. The breakfast was fine. Everything else was just fine. There is a small mall down the road. Would highly recommend the Japanese restaurant next to the hotel.
