The equipments in the room was very old. The window of the room is opening to a common coridor. The smell of the room was not fresh. The location is good to reach city center. There is no way for babysitters to get in the hotel, you should carry on hand for upstairs.

Hotel Derby is located in Placa Duque. Across the street there was a Corte Ingles so that I could buy anything I needed an a 24 hour restaurant on the corner. I was close to everything wanted to do and could walk there easily. The hotel was very clean, safe and the staff was helpful and friendly.

My experience of hotels in Spain is just limited to Madrid and Barcelona, therefore being in Algarve my wife and I took some days off to check Seville and this Hotel. The hotel is very central and there is a lot of small, local restaurants/bar around it. Even though it's quite a lot of heavy traffic just below the room... More

The was of classic style, nice and comfortable. Breakfast was average. Staff was helpful. Parking is possible at the car park of El Corte Inglés opposite the hotel for a special rate: you pay the price of the parking at the hotel, then when driving out of the garage you show the receipt to the man in the cabin at... It's Easy to get to the Hotel from the train station. (The bus stop is outside the front of the train station you have to walk past the Taxi's. Catch the Number 32 bus to Plaza Del Duque, its across the road from where you get off and costs €1.60) The Hotel is central so easy to walk to the... More

Hotel located in the central area , very friendly staff , rooms okay but clean and quiet . The hotel is in a great location close to the central pedestrian area where you can reach on foot many tourist attractions including the cathedral .

We had two rooms on the first floor, very clean, comfortable and with the best wind down shutters to keep the room dark for the Siesta. Near to a lot of cafes, restaurants, stores. Walking distance to all main see sightings in Seville. Great personnel, friendly and helpful. Double decker bus stops by also. Taxis stop spot is just in... More

We had a nice room on the 3rd floor over looking the Plaza del Duque. The Plaza is a pleasant garden square that fills up with markets during the day. As they say location is everything and The Hotel Derby had it 100 %. Walk to lots of cafes, bars ,restaurants, plazas, churches, the Gothic Cathedral, Alcazar, Flamenco centres., across... More

Our friends organised a 3 cities in 3 days road trip - Sevilla being the starting point: The Derby Hotel offers all the amenities of a city break with easy parking, welcoming staff & modern facilities. The breakfast bacon was a bit strange & possibly a reformed/processed product.

Traditional style hotel very convenient location. El Corte Ingles underground car parking nearby is of great benefit and not as difficult to locate as a map would suggest, simply take a right turn from the main road (Torneo) after the filling station, and proceed down Baños following the P signs. Don't bother with the hotel breakfasts though, they're poor. The... More
