From start to finish, my experience in the Hotel Fernando III could not have been better. The booking process was seamless on their website, and I was contacted via email a few days in advance with a reminder of the booking details, the weather and how to best get to the hotel.
We arrived earlier than recommended check-in time and were lucky enough that our room was ready. We were warmly welcomed by the multilingual hotel staff, and were given all the key information we required to begin our stay successfully.
The double room on the first floor came with two single beds, as per our request, and was stocked with a high-quality coffee machine & pods, instant coffee, a selection of teas and milk, as well as bottled water. (These amenities were restocked daily). The room is very spacious for two adults and it was cleaned to perfection daily. The bathroom contained a sink, WC, bidet and a large shower with both rainfall and handheld attachments. Again, amenities were provided as well as a fully functional hair dryer (not your typical hotel disaster that takes forever!). As we visited in July, we made great use of the air conditioning in the room which I can confirm worked a charm and was not overly noisy.
During our stay we visited the rooftop pool & bar daily. We were always greeted with a smile and our names by the rooftop staff, were given fresh towels and accompanied to our loungers. Staff were extremely professional and ensured to go above and beyond in terms of drinks service, cleaning up and accommodating us (even when there weren't loungers together available). We sampled a considerable number of cocktails during our afternoons at the pool, and all staff were more than happy to give recommendations for drinks selection, or share their local knowledge with us too. The views from the rooftop pool were also stunning, especially at sunset.
The general areas in the hotel were always very clean, welcoming and well maintained, we never once had any problems with insects, nor saw any dirty/messy spots. We did not eat breakfast in the hotel, therefore I cannot comment on the AM food service. I would mention that the WiFi at times can be a bit slow, however Reception were very quick to address our concerns and provided us with a booster which worked a charm.
For a city hotel in Seville, I think this hotel is more than value for money and I would highly recommend it to family and friends. If I were to return to Seville, I would more than likely rebook this hotel as I had such a wonderful experience there.
A big shout out to the Reception team (Pablo and his team), and the Rooftop staff including Gonzalo, Luis, Carmen, Lucia, Diego, Miguel Angel and Alex & David for their professionalism, their friendly and positive attitude, and their focus on providing high-quality customer service that rivals many 5 star hotels I have worked/stayed in.

This is our fourth stay in the Fernando III in the last year - it is a great hotel for visitors to Seville. It is in an excellent location for all the sights - literally 10 minutes walk to most of them.
We had been staying at the Alphonso XIII on previous trips but encountered issues with service which were not acceptable given the price.
The staff on the front desk of the Fernando III are excellent - always happy to help. We had issues with the lack of air con (note: there is none during winter months) on this trip and they kindly moved us to a different room with bigger windows/balcony.
We don't eat breakfast here but have had several excellent lunches and drinks at the rooftop bar beside the pool.
The rooms are excellent value for money - especially given how little time you spend in them as you are always out sightseeing or at the pool.

The best of all worlds...central yet tranquil, luxurious but affordable, professional and friendly staff. I would recommend this hotel very highly, based on its being within walking distance of every attraction and numerous tapas bars/restaurants. There is valet parking available and the reception staff will help willingly with information and printing tickets. The staff at breakfast (with its excellent variety of food) worked unobtrusively and very efficiently to provide a pleasant experience. Our room faced an inner courtyard and was very clean and quiet. This is a solid choice for a visit to Seville, but misses a fifth star due to noise overnight.
The hotel is located “within the city walls” and so provides a superb location from which to explore Sevilla.
The rooms are modern and well appointed. There are “hidden” USB ports in the socket below the TV. These are not obvious.
There are no irons or steamers in the room, but there is a fold and press service available for a charge.
There are generous complimentary toiletries and two bottles of water per day.
Unfortunately, the design of the hotel means that noise from the corridors travels directly into rooms. This was especially disturbing overnight - loud noise from guests returning to the hotel persisted until 02:00.
There is a bright light on the TV that also disturbs - use a towel to cover this if you are sensitive to light.
The rooftop pool is brilliant - and pool towels are provided.
Breakfast is also generous and well organised.

What a pleasure to stay at a hotel with such interested and caring staff.
Our room (P17) was kept spotless throughout our 7 day stay and everything was both functional and comfortable. The shower provided oodles of high pressure hot water while everything in the bathroom was accessible.
Our super king ? bed gave plenty of room for the usual manoeuvring, meaning we did not disturb each other at night. Equally, the linen was spotless and felt great.
Although we omitted to take advantage of breakfast as part of the autumn deal - we did enjoy breakfast every day. Each morning we were met by staff who were unfailingly happy and helpful - they really care. The same comments apply to the reception staff and those managing the roof terrace/restaurant. Even when one evening choice was disappointing, they responded with complimentary desserts while the original selection was removed from the invoice.
We also enjoyed the occasional Gin & Tonic which is to be highly recommended - every spirit option is assumed to be large.
For those wanting a dip, the pool offers a bracing experience - the abundance of pool towels aids the recovery.
In sum - a memorable hotel which we highly recommend.

Fabulous location 8 minutes from everything. Very friendly and helpful staff, they would go above and beyond. No air con this time of year though. Beds are extremely comfortable, rooms cleaned daily, and toiletries replenished in the bathroom. Fridge, tea and a coffee machine. Roof terrace with pool for a quiet drink in the evening. Would recommend.

Excellent hotel in great location
The hotel is situated in an excellent location, close to restaurants & bars.
You can walk to most of the sightseeing places within a 20 minute walk from the the hotel.
The hotel itself is refurbished to a high standard. The beds are comfortable and we had 2 large single beds next to each other. Perfect for mother/daughter or friends. The only mirror was in the bathroom, so another mirror in the bedroom area would be good. I also think liquid soap would be more economical in the bathroom, instead of replenishing toiletries each day.
The hotel is very clean and quiet.
The pool area is an added bonus and the bar staff were excellent. You could order drinks by the pool and charge to your room. It does get busy for beds later in the day, but we always found one. Towels are provided and you can have meals on the roof terrance.
I would highly recommend this hotel. It’s popular with groups, couples, families and a nice atmosphere.

Found the hotel quite easily ( with a map! )..... lovely reception area and large comfy sofas just off the reception. Room was modern and clean, coffee machine with pods and tea bags provided. Breakfast was included with our price and was excellent..loads of choice meats,cheeses,fruits, pastries cereal and hot mix too. With the floor being marble/tiled you do hear everyone walking past your room...didn't get to see the pool as the outdoor wasn't open due to inclement weather. Would definitely recommend 100%.

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Fernando III in late July and loved it. The hotel is tucked away in one of the beautiful alleys that make the Jewish Quarter so mesmerizing. Easy walking distance to all the sights of Sevilla. There are tons of shops and restaurants nearby the hotel as well. La Bartola and Bar Carmela are within 50 yards of the hotel. Both restaurants offer tasty tapas stye food.
We stayed in room P8, which is one of the best in the hotel. A large room with king size bed, huge TV and a wrap around balcony. The room was clean, and the a/c worked perfectly.
The front desk staff, the valets and the housekeeping staff were all very friendly and helpful. Many thanks to Pablo for the surprise bottle of sparkling wine that he sent up to the room. We loved the thought and enjoyed the wine.
The hotel has a rooftop terrace with a killer pool and bar. Drinks are reasonably priced, and the pool was very refreshing with a gorgeous view to boot. We would explore the city during the morning and then go to the pool in the late afternoon.
