The Silken Al-Andalus Palace Hotel offers a tranquil atmosphere and spacious rooms, though some guests have noted issues with soundproofing and dated decor. While the cleanliness generally receives positive remarks, there are occasional lapses. Travelers give mixed reviews on the location, finding it either convenient or slightly out of the way. The service quality varies, with reports of both friendly and unhelpful staff. Despite criticism over additional charges for amenities like kettles and parking, the varied breakfast and beautiful pool area—albeit sometimes chilly—are highlights for many visitors.

Very nice hotel, very hygienic and nicely decorated. The room was equipped with air conditioning that you can turn up / down yourself. The room also has a safe, mini fridge and various toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, sponge, hand soap, shampoo, cups,...). Also the service is fine. Breakfast was very varied (fruit, coffee cakes, eggs, different types of bread). The location of the hotel is out of town but there are bus stops close to the hotel. Definitely recommended if you go to Seville.

You can’t fault hotel lovely and clean rooms cleaned daily the only downside is location it’s in a residential area outside the city around a 50 min walk a taxi is 15 euro but the number 34 bus takes you to the palace for 1.40 takes around 20 mins well worth it there are a couple of supermarkets within 10 min walk and a huge shopping mall around 20 min walk over the park behind hotel lots of clothes shops etc . Food and drink prices are expensive a beer 5 euro and a vodka orange £9 food starts from £18 no kettle in room so had to buy the smallest cup for £2 each morning Seville itself is a beautiful city if we return would definatly book a hotel in the city centre . This is more a conference hotel for Spanish

To start, check in went smoothly, friendly and informative. Our room was great, the Aircon is the best we have had before, with a comfortable bed and pillows, clean spacious room and bathroom. No kettle or coffee tea facilities and the noise level we experienced was too loud unfortunately. The hotel rooms and surrounding areas are very clean tho but the rooms are not soundproof at all. The location is about 10mins into the city in a taxi and there is a taxi rank at the corner outside the hotel which will cost around 10euro. There's no shops close to the hotel however, there is a shop we found on Google maps 7 mins walk away across the main road. The pool and snack bar area is perfect, the pool is surrounded by a gate which we felt gave more peace and privacy when on a sun lounger, there's plenty of space and beds and some shaded garden area if you like to sit out of the sun. There is maybe 1hr per day of loud music during the aerobic times but otherwise mostly quiet so if you want a lot of entertainment I wouldn't recommend. Staff were friendly and polite, sometimes we struggled with the language barrier and I would recommend to all coming to Sevilla to learn some Spanish as the few words we know really helped us. Overall we are leaving feeling relaxed and we would definitely recommend this hotel to all. ¡Que bieno!

We chose this hotel as it is near enough to the centre of Seville to access from buses that stop very near the hotel(10 minute journey to the centre) and takes you to various key positions of the city . Also because of the swimming pool that was perfect at the end of a very hot day and is open until 9pm. I was worried at how large it was when I first arrived but there was no need, it is wonderful! The hotel is very clean, food and drink choices good and reasonably priced. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and speak very good English which is perfect for lazy Brits who expect them to. Rooms were serviced every day and fresh bottled water replenished daily which were the perfect size to take out with you. There are water fountains around the city that you can use to refill during the day. There is a booth in hotel reception with staff that can assist with booking tourist attractions and any shows you want to see. The lovely guy there (sorry forgot his name) was so helpful with directions and tour bookings. The hotel is spacious and well air conditioned. There was a superb female singer a couple of nights and I really enjoyed sitting by the pool bar listening to her light, jazz versions of many well known songs, perfect. There are always taxis out the front which we used once to get to the centre and cost us €9. Really enjoyed our time at this hotel and hope to return sometime as determined to re-visit beautiful Seville. The hotel even acknowledged my birthday by leaving a small gift. Very lovely hotel.

Have had a lovely holiday here. Arrived around 11.00am and checked in. Check in time is 16.00 so they stored our cases in locked room giving us the option of heading out to explore or get our swimming costumes out, try the pool and then lunch at the pool bar. We went for option 2. They phoned just as we were having lunch as our room was ready. The standard room & bathroom are spacious with nice smelling toiletries. Beds comfortable. Included the buffet breakfast and it was very good, big choice. Rooms were kept immaculate by the cleaning staff who were so friendly, in fact all the staff were courteous, helpful and friendly. There's water aerobics twice a day, good fun.
Tips: We used Cabify app to get to places, easy to download and easy to use. The taxi's we got were immaculate and you were kept informed how long you'd wait. There is a Mercado shop 350m away where you can buy water and crisps etc and there's a chemist across from it
Bring your own towels for the pool, we brought quick drying ones. You can hire at €10 a day fully refunded on return. Would definitely stay here again

We arrived at the hotel around 10.30-11 am, we could not enter the room because they were complete (I understand perfectly). We left the bags at reception.
When we return around 9.30pm to the hotel, we are given the room, we pick up the bags (I think they could have put them directly when our room became available, as other hotels do). The room was quite old, the bathroom, although it looks renovated, has very dirty walls, with smudges everywhere and has no hanger to leave the towel once you have used it.
While my son showers, I turn on the heating and see it's not working. We call reception and they tell us they're calling maintenance. At the same time, when my son has already come out of the shower and is very cold, they call us and tell us what maintenance has communicated that there is a problem with the heating in that wing of the hotel (room 2228 I think I remember) and it does not work (I say they could have foreseen it since the morning). At 10.30pm at night, with my son already in his pajamas, I have to go down to reception to get the key to the new room and change.

The second room looked better and as soon as you entered you could see that it was better acclimatized, it was not as cold as in the first (and without having put the heating). The bathroom looked somewhat older than the other room but was clean and there was room to hang the towels. The beds were very uncomfortable, the pillows dire and worse, when facing a corridor that gives reception you could hear all the noise. So much so that until 1:30 in the morning we couldn’t sleep because there were people talking super loud and singing happy birthdays to someone several times.
They do not take into account the rest of the clients. I find it amazing that, knowing that there was a problem with the heating, they give us such a room, knowing also that we are going with a child. And a room with stains on the walls.
In short, I very much doubt that we will return to this hotel, and , of course, I do not recommend it.

The modernly equipped Silken Al-Andalus Palace is located in the south of Seville, just 200 metres from the Betis Sevilla Stadium. There are hardly any dining options nearby. There is a huge parking garage, 17€ per day. From the bus station near the hotel you can reach the center in 15 minutes; a taxi rank is located in front of the hotel.
The hotel has a beautifully landscaped pool with a large sunbathing lawn under palm trees and other trees. Highly recommended after a long day of sightseeing. Loungers are ample.
The staff is friendly and helpful.
The rooms are modern, sufficiently large (lots of storage space), as well as the bathroom with walk-in shower. Many German TV programs.
Breakfast is perfectly fine for a city hotel of this size, with the breakfast room quickly becoming full due to round trip guests. The coffee (cappuccino) was very weak, the juice selection could have been wider.
Should we stay in Seville again, then here!

We chose this hotel for its four stars and because it was close to the Viamed Santa Angela Clinic. We left very unhappy, after paying over 100 euros the room, it was small and we went cold. After calling the reception to put the heating on, he replied that they did not put it in that wing and that we should take the blankets, which we replied that if to leave the shower, we should also take the blankets. We were told that we were invited to breakfast, to which we replied, that we were not begging for breakfast, that in a 4-star hotel we cannot allow customers to go cold, and that if they could not heat one wing because the other wing cooled, then cease to be a 4-star hotel. They charge like a four-star hotel and provide a three-star hotel service. Small room, obsolete bathtub and all very old, absurd, we will not return there

I very rarely write reviews but like many, rely heavily on them when selecting our accommodation. This trip was a bit of a wild card, stepping away from our usuals half hoard/all inc in Majorca etc, steered heavily by budget and school holidays. The hotel was clearly extremely impressive at one point and is still a very good standard, but what makes this a fantastic experience is the staff. Everyone seems intent on going out of their way to help, from sweets for the kids to take away at breakfast to staff playing with the children in the pool. Our maid even left a euro for my child when she noticed a lost tooth on the side.
Breakfast is the best hotel breakfast I’ve had in terms of the variety and there are 3 different options for meal times ranging from an affordable buffet at €20pp (half price for kids) to the pool bar which can be found to have evening musicians serenading across the pool. We have found the safe plenty big enough for iPads and more importantly free to use! You can hire towels for €10 pp deposit and change them daily again for free! Absolutely fantastic week in Seville.

I don’t understand where all these positive reviews are coming from. I guess the people who stay here have never stayed anywhere else, or we just have the misfortune of the worst room here.
I will say that the lobby looks and smells great. They have two awesome large glass containers with fruit infused water in the lobby. Today, one of them was plugged and nothing came out and the second one was empty most of the day. If you want some of the water, you better go early.

We asked when we arrived if we could get a kettle in our room as we like to make tea in the morning. They said we had to rent it for €5/day. WTH??

If you want a towel for the pool you have to leave a €10 deposit per towel.

We went to the bar tonight to ask for some ice for our water bottles. The very grouchy bartender told us we had to pay for it. WTH??
I proceeded to the front desk to ask where I could get ice and she sent me to the restaurant where I was told I had to pay for it there too. I went back to the front desk and she told me I could ask for a glass of water with some ice or “I don’t know”. I said, so she’ll give me water with ice for free but no ice? She shrugged.

Our room fridge does not stay closed so we have to prop the table in front of it.

The bathtub looks horrible, dirty, stained, not sure. I’m hoping stained but I’ve never felt like I need to wear flip flops in a hotel shower before.

The telephone in our room has been pulled out of the wall and the connection is dangling near the ground.

The hotel windows don’t look like they’ve been washed since sometime preCOVID.

I have no words for the “gym” but I’ll try. No AC on the 7th floor open for a few hours in the morning and a few hours after 8 PM at night when it’s not the “hot time of day”. It has a bike, a treadmill, an elliptical machine, no free weights, no stretching mats or any space to work out. There is a weight machine where you can do a few exercises, but my husband and I could certainly not workout at the same time, not that I would want to because it’s about 32°C in there oh and by the way, there aren’t any fans, water, towels, etc. I guess if there were, we’d have to pay to rent them. Why no AC though? Seville is one of the hottest cities in all of Europe.

I have stayed in so many hotels in my lifetime and I have been in Spain this year, staying in different hotels for the past 6 weeks. I have stayed in previous years all over Spain for a total of about 3 months and this the worst.

I have 6 nights left in our prepaid stay and I can’t wait to leave. I will never come back and I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. I would give it negative stars if I could.
