Hotel Casa 1800 Granada is a charming hotel located in a fully restored XVI century historical building, the building is known as Casa de los Migueletes and served as the headquarters of the militia at the time. The hotel is decorated with chandeliers, frescos, cupolas and luxurious furnishings, always in keeping with the noble wood of the building whilst highlighting the Classicist and Mudejar elements of the original house. The rooms are elegant and cozy, some enjoy views of the Alhambra, inner courtyards, coffered ceilings and offer all kinds of amenities. The House is organised around a central courtyard where each morning breakfast is served and in the afternoon tea is offered to the hotel guests, who are treated to a family atmosphere and making the stay special and unforgettable. The charming hotel has a privileged location in the centre of Granada between the magical Albaicin and at the foot of the Alhambra. Nearby there are museums, theatres, monuments, shops, restaurants and tapas bars.

Wonderful hotel! Position in the center of Granada, yet tucked away from noise and traffic, excellent customer service (the afternoon tea is a real treat!), establishment full of character and history. Highly recommended.

We had the family suite which was huge and comfortable for 4 - tons of room to spreadout and relax from the heat. The service and amenities are simple, no bar, simple breakfast, but nice afternoon snack session in the interior courtyard.

Highly recommended! The hotel is in the old town and requires a little walking but its all worth it. Rooms were not big but had a cozy and warm feel to them. The hotel has a retractable roof and a small courtyard, they provide free water and coffee throughout the day, breakfast was good and they have a happy hour snacks. The service is super friendly and no matter where you are walking, the location is fantastic. Tip: we elected to park near the science center on the street, free parking. Took uber for 10 euro and on the way back walked 25-30 min downhill to retrieve the car. Saved on parking costs.

We loved our stay here. We were in a room above reception, it was nice and large, very cool with great air con. All their rooms have AC. The staff were super lovely and helpful. The private airport transfer was slightly cheaper than a taxi €40 so just do that rather than have the hassle of a cab that might not take you as far. You can’t get dropped at the door, you need to walk around some lane ways and up some stairs so this isn’t the best accommodation if you use a wheelchair or have a mobility aid. Should be ok for families with strollers - you’ll need to carry it a lot walking around the old parts anyway. Highly recommend this hotel. It was really reasonably priced and very nice. It felt like. 4 star hotel at a 3 star price. We walked from this hotel to the Alhambra. It took about 30 minutes and was up quite a steep hill. The bud is available close to the hotel if that is not your vibe. Remember to be on time and take photo ID to the Alhambra. We forgot and it was a bit of a hassle. Almost missed our entry time to the palaces.

We enjoyed our stay at Casa 1800 in Granada. The location was perfect! Everything was walkable. Even walking to Sacromonte (20-30 min uphill) and Alhambra (20-30 min uphill) was doable. We stayed in the superior room and found the bed and bathroom nice. The AC was great for cooling down during the afternoon siesta and the shower pressure was strong which was refreshing. The receptionist was kind and very welcoming, providing tips and tricks about getting around Granada.

We had been communicating with Hotel Casa 1800 staff for 2 years because of Covid restrictions on travel. They have been professional and accommodating and we finally arrived for our long-planned trip. The hotel is charming, the location is perfect for all of Granada's offerings, and the hotel staff was lovely. They never seemed to tire of our many questions. They were most helpful in arranging tickets and transportation and pretty much anything we asked for! We would stay there again and we recommend it to anyone spending time in Granada.

The hotel couldn’t be located in at a better location, however besides the lobby/breakfast room the rest of the hotel needs a major upgrade. The beds are saggy, the bathroom is dated, the furniture is old, sad and overused. And while the staff was super friendly before our arrival, they were challenging and cold during the visit.

Hotel 1800 is charming! The rooms are beautiful with spectacular views. The hotel staff was gracious, pleasant, and very welcoming. Breakfast was perfect, the round the clock coffee and water and the complimentary happy hour was fabulous. Even had complimentary bottle of Cava in our rooms! They offered my kids a take-away breakfast due to their early departure time. I would definitely stay here again!
