My family of 4 has just returned from our Spring break vacation in Spain. We stayed at Portago Urban, Granada. But the experience is unforgettable. The hotel is nicely located in the center of the city and is within walking distance to Alhambra (15 min). There are many nearby restaurants you can choose from. The hotel also offers discounted parking... More

I've given this 4 stars here - it's not a 4 star hotel- but it was clean, cool decor, brilliantly located and all things considered was excellent value for money, very cheap option relative to my usual choices. Breakfast was ok, not great not terrible but fine for the price but you could allow it and venture out as you're... More

Located in the center of the city, this place is close to Alhambra and also to the eating joints of the town. There's a bus stop just infront of the hotel from which you can take C3 bus to Alhambra. There's a public parking place close to the hotel which you can use. I think that was quite costly but... More

I stayed only for a night and I wish I could have stayed a bit longer! The hotel has a unique charm (with the hat theme, cf. pictures) and is very well located, close to everything (Albayzin for instance). The room I had was on the ground floor and pretty large. Unlike other reviewers, the bathroom was separated from the... More

Located centrally, close to Alhambra. Extremely cute and nice rooms. I was pleasantly surprised. It would have been nice to have the rooftop bar working but it was cold. Parking is a little bit of a hassle -@$16 in public parking (though near by). Staff was helpful and new basic English.

Stayed 2 nights. Loved the quirky concept, with the hat theme throughout the hotel and the rooms named after famous artists. Room spacious. Bed comfortable. However, do not expect any other comforts. No toiletries. Bath and toilet not separate from sleeping area. And they had an electricity outage that lasted into the evening on our second day. Overall, a rather... More

Stayed here Dec 22nd and 23rd 2015. This hotel was in a good location, just up from the city centre (once you got your bearings) and a few minutes from some nice bars. The receptionist was friendly and check-in was quick and efficient. The receptionist offered advice on how to get around, to the Alhambra etc. The room was large,... More

Great place with really nice staff. We came with a small child and had several 'special situations' and that great guy from Argentina working at the desk really helped us a lot and made our stay a great experience. He even got our camera back for us that we had lost in a taxi! Thanks so much for the great... More

We stayed 2 nights in Portago Urban when we're in Granada trip. I can say that if you're looking for a place close to all historical places you can stay here, it's the only advantage of this hotel. Staff in reception doesn't speak english. Wifii doesn't work. Although they know the wifii problem they didin't do anything i.e. don't belive... More
