Two nights at the Cuevas El Abanico were the most exciting hotel stay during our Spanish vacation. It definitely has lots of character. I would highly recommend it to those looking for both comfortable and memorable accommodation in Granada. Please, note that you can reach it by foot only, as it is located in a steep lane 100m from a...

Arrived from Monachil (a thirty minute journey), and then spent the same again going round the old narrow cobbled streets twice until we found our way with the help of a friendly tourist tout (5€ thanks very much). All worth it though. I couldn't imagine a better place to stay in Granada. Although the parking is a bit hit and...

Arrival-I had printed directions from the hotel website to take a bus from the bus station outside of Granada, but it was outdated. Granada changed the bus system and numbers in 2014, so we took a cab instead. I recommend taking a cab there but there's instructions on how to get there at this website: http://granadamap.com/bus/ The woman who greeted...

Away from the main tourist crowds - but some local restaurants do flamenco shows so there are tourist around, nevertheless much quieter than downtown Granada. Staying in a cave is a novelty and it was quite comfortable and a basic breaffast was provided. However the very high Trip Advisor rating has to be taken with care - this is gust...

This is an almost unique experience to stay in a cave so close to the centre of the wonderful city of Granada. You really get a sense of where you are and the history of the Sacromonte in particular. The caves are very clean, well lit and well furnished. Within walking distance of the Alhambra, Albaicin and City Centre if...

The cave is at a good location to see Alhambra. We stayed two nights here and very relaxing. We had two big luggages with us, when we arrived airport we took bus to downtown then took taxi to hotel. I am glad that we took taxi, since it takes 5 minutes to walk upper hills road to the bottom of...

We found the hotel to be a memorable experience and located with easy access to many of the sites. The rooms were large and being caves, it was just the right temperature. We had a two bedroom and it included a sitting area, kitchen and breakfast table. We could have fit several more people in the space. Outside our room...

A great location to explore Granada from. The cave apartment was just what we required. Clean, relatively spacious (I'm 6'2) with a comfortable bed and decent bathroom, in a quiet area. We enjoyed sitiing outside having our breakfast, just taking it easy. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, even if their English isn't brilliant. They told us where the local...

The caves were a really great place to stay in Granada, facilities were fantastic and the staff were really helpful. The location was great in the Albacin, which allowed exploration of this area, great views of the hills and the Alhambra. Would recommend to anyone.

I read a blog on tripadvisor that said that visitors to Granada must experience staying in the caves and boy, am I glad I did just that!! Getting there - Not much of an issue. We took a cab that dropped us a few meters from the entrance. We had intimated the owner of our arrival and he was there...
